DUST Ends Run at Westside 1/18

Angels, the new Broadway-bound musical about an Angel who discovers her place and purpose, presented two staged readings (3:30 & 7PM) on Tuesday, December 16th at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street). Written by the new Australian team of Ken Lai (book, music and lyrics) and Marcus Cheong (book and lyrics), the readings featured Robert Cuccioli, Jessica Grov? and Nicholas Rodriguez in the leading roles. Direction is by Rich Fowler.

Written by Billy Goda and directed by Scott Zigler, Dust also features Laura E. Campbell, Curtis McClarin and John Schiappa. The production celebrated opening night on Thursday, December 4th. BroadwayWorld.com's camera's caught all the fun from the curtain call to the after party of the new Off-Broadway drama.

On Sunday night, November 30th, cast members from the new Broadway musical Shrek attended a performance of the new off-Broadway thriller, Dust. After the performance, when the casts greeted one another on stage, the occasion was quite the family affair as Shrek's Sutton Foster and Jennifer Cody are sister and wife, respectively, of Dust star Hunter Foster.

New Musical 'Mark Twain's Blues' Opens 2/21 at Altered Stages

Cinna Productions is pleased to announce the World Premiere of Mark Twain's Blues, a new play with songs by Walt Stepp about a lecture by the famed author that's interrupted by the arrival of two of his most famous characters who accuse Twain of betrayal. Directed by Tom Herman with Music Direction by David Wolfson and Choreography by James Beaudry, the production runs from February 15 through March 8 with an opening scheduled for February 21 at Altered Stages.
