Reigning CMA Vocal Group of the Year Little Big Town will host the summer's hottest television music event 'CMA Music Festival: Country's Night to Rock' airing Monday, Aug. 12 (8:00-11:00 PM/ET) on the ABC Television Network.

TVline reports that Chris Carmack, who appeared in the freshman season of ABC's NASHVILLE, has been promoted to a series regular.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC has renewed Nashville for a second season. The country music drama stars Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere. The series, which kicked off last November, is currently averaging 6 million total viewers.
