SRT's Special Events for A COLUMBIA CHRISTMAS CAROL Begin 11/27

Sierra Repertory Theatre welcomes the holidays with Christmas carols before its evening shows Thanksgiving weekend. Local group Sincerely will perform beginning at 6 p.m. on Nov 27 and 28, as well as before the final Friday performance on December 18.

A tale of both humor and heart, Charles Dickens' written work takes on new life as the audience watches the miser EBENEZER SCROOGE have a change of heart with the help of three Christmas ghosts. It's a holiday treat you won't want to miss!

Geva to Stage Key Bank's A CHRISTMAS CAROL

?On November 25, a beloved Rochester tradition returns to Geva Theatre Center on the Wilson Stage. The Key Bank Production of A Christmas Carol, Dickens' classic tale of redemption for the most despised man in London, will awaken your heart and rekindle your spirit this holiday season.  This production of A Christmas Carol premiered to great acclaim in 2010 and features a script adapted by Mark Cuddy from Charles Dickens' novella with music and lyrics by Gregg Coffin, composer of Geva favorites, Five Course Love and Convenience. 

Cape May Stage to Present A CAPE MAY CHRISTMAS, Opening 11/27

 Cape May history comes to life at Cape May Stage this holiday season at the world premiere of 'A Cape May Christmas,' opening Friday,  November 27. Cape May Stage is located at 405 Lafayette Street in Cape May. On Saturday, November 28, Cape May Stage will also present 'The Twelve Dates of Christmas' at Congress Hall, 200 Congress Place, Cape May. Both plays were created by women playwrights, the sixth and seventh productions in a season of all-female playwrights in 2015.

David Hunter and David Burt to Lead West End's A CHRISTMAS CAROL, Dec. 22

David Hunter - last seen in the West End starring as Guy in the Olivier, Tony and Academy Award-winning musical Once - is to play Ebenezer Scrooge's downtrodden employee, Bob Cratchit, in award-winning Antic Disposition's magical, musical adaptation of Charles Dickens' festive classic, A Christmas Carol.

Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit, Marley's Ghost, Scrooge and the Spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future all make their appearance as the three actors guide us through the story - sometimes as narrators, sometimes as storytellers, and sometimes as characters. This original adaptation is presented by the award-winning Grove Theater Center at GTC Burbank from November 28 to December 20.

Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL to Run 11/20-12/13 at Cal State Fullerton

The family Christmas classic, Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL, runs November 20-December 13, 2015 in the Young Theatre on Cal State Fullerton's campus. The adaptation is inspired by the 1951 film version, adapted by Department of Theatre and Dance Chair Bruce Goodrich and directed by Jeremy Lewis.

DICKENS'S CHRISTMAS CAROL Moves to Historic Christ Church in Tarrytown This Dec

Master storyteller Jonathan Kruk will offer dramatic performances of Dickens's 'Christmas Carol' on December weekends at the historic Christ Episcopal Church in Tarrytown, where Washington Irving served as a vestryman.   Complete with musical accompaniment, Kruk brings to life the classic Charles Dickens story of Ebenezer Scrooge and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. Performances take place on Saturday and Sunday Dec. 5-6, 12-13, and 19-20, at 3:30, 4:45, and 6pm (Dec. 20 at 6 and 7:15 only).
