Nineteenth-century London comes to life when Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit, and, of course, Ebenezer Scrooge take you on a fantastical journey through Christmas Past, Present, and Future. Scrooge's story of redemption remains as powerful and uplifting as ever. Adapted for the stage by Joseph Hanreddy and Edward Morgan, A CHRISTMAS CAROL runs November 28 - December 21 at Houston Family Arts Center.

Open Stage of Harrisburg is proud to bring back a Harrisburg tradition! For eleven years, OSH produced their own adaptation of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, penned by Edward Alsedek. After a four year hiatus, A CHRISTMAS CAROL will return for a one night only staged reading. The reading will be on Sunday, December 7 at 7:00pm. A reception will follow.

On Sunday, December 7, The Pearl Theatre Company will present a one night only benefit performance of holiday readings, radio plays, and music hosted by WNYC's Leonard Lopate at the theatre company's home on 42nd Street. The special event will include selections of stories from Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, O. Henry, and many more performed by Members of The Pearl's Resident Acting Company including Dominic Cuskern, Jolly Abraham, Dan Daily (currently starring in Major Barbara), Chris Mixon, Carol Schultz and Brad Heberlee. Performing alongside Mr. Lopate and the Company will be the musical duo of Gelber & Manning, providing early jazz standards from Old New York.

Alleyway Theatre and sponsors M&T Bank, WBBZ-TV, Mighty Taco and Paragon Advertising, will present the 32nd annual production of Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL, adapted and directed by Neal Radice, December 11-21, 2014. Alleyway Theatre is located at 1 Curtain Up Alley in the heart of Buffalo's historic Theatre District. The holiday classic is the second production of the company's thirty- fifth season of theatre.

In an intimate, site-specific production of Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol' taking place at the American Irish Historical Society on Fifth Avenue next month, Origin Theatre Company is rediscovering Dickens' original performance text. The one-man version of the story features the American television and stage actor Greg Mullavey. Performances are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday December 8, 9, 11, and 12, all at 8pm.

Tonight, November 26, a beloved Rochester tradition returns to Geva Theatre Center on the Wilson Mainstage. A Christmas Carol, Dickens' classic tale of redemption for the most despised man in London, will awaken your heart and rekindle your spirit this holiday season. This production of A Christmas Carol premiered to great acclaim in 2010 and features a script adapted by Mark Cuddy from Charles Dickens' novella with music and lyrics by Gregg Coffin, composer of Geva favorites, Five Course Love and Convenience.

Three holiday spirits - Christmas Past, Present and Future - conspire to redeem a miserly humbug at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park as U.S. Bank presents Charles Dickens' iconic holiday story, A CHRISTMAS CAROL. The beloved tale, enjoyed each season by multiple generations of Cincinnatians, will be performed for its 24th year in the Playhouse's Robert S. Marx Theatre from tonight Nov. 26 through Dec. 28.

A Christmas Carol at Theatre Memphis will open December 5, 2014, for the 37th consecutive year but with a new spirit, David Shipley, performing as Ebenezer Scrooge. On Monday, December 8th at 5pm and 7pm, WNYC and WQXR will host the fifth annual presentation of A CHRISTMAS CAROL: A Radio Drama, written by Arthur Yorinks and inspired by the Charles Dickens classic, performed by station hosts and special guests.

Rehearsals began this week for Queens Theatre & Titan Theatre Company's Co-production of its new stage adaptation of the Charles Dickens' holiday classic. The classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge and the three transformational visits he endures from spirits of his past, present, and future will run December 11-21, 2014 at Queens Theatre, the borough's premiere performing arts venue.

Kansas City Repertory Theatre continues its 50th anniversary celebration with the beloved holiday classic, Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, directed by Jerry Genochio. Performances run November 21 through December 26 at UMKC's Spencer Theatre. Since 1981, more than half a million audience members have fallen in love with Dicken's ageless story of the ghostly experiences of the hard-hearted Ebenezer Scrooge on a magical Christmas Eve. The last time we gave you a Music City Confidential (number seven), the London Olympics were winding up, LaToya Gardner and Kevin Mead were starring in Circle Players' Aida, Maggie Richardson and Cody Rutledge were headlining Xanadu at the Arts Center of Cannon County, and Music City was caught up in Nutty Professor fever!
