Civic Ensemble to Present BAH HUMBUG! A RHINER COMMEDIA CAROL

Civic Ensemble, in collaboration with The History Center, presents Bah Humbug! A Rhiner Commedia Carol, a mashup of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol and Ithaca's own history of the Rhiners and performed in the style of Commedia Dell'Arte.

Ford's Theatre Society presents its 35th-annual production of Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol, now through December 31, 2016. This 'musically high-spirited' and 'infectiously jolly' (The Washington Post) production is adapted by Michael Wilson, directed by Michael Baronand features Craig Wallace as Ebenezer Scrooge. Bright Star Touring Theatre Comes to Texas with LEGENDS OF THE LONE STAR STATE

It is no secret that Texans are proud of their heritage.  That is why, every March, school children from Amarillo to Brownsville celebrate Texas History Month.  This year, Bright Star Touring Theatre will be helping Texas' schools, libraries and theaters celebrate the legends, heroes and tall tales that make up Texas History with their brand new live theater show Legends of the Lone Star State.

Ron West to Lead The Second City's TWIST YOUR DICKENS at the Goodman

The Second City's irreverent and interactive seasonal satire, Twist Your Dickens returns to Goodman Theatre for its third year with new yuletide yuks and favorite faces. 'A satisfying twist on the traditional tale' (Time Out Chicago), Twist Your Dickens is written by former The Colbert Report writers Peter Gwinn and Bobby Mort and directed by and starring Second City Alum Ron West.

Telenovela CHRISTMAS CAROL Gets World Premiere

A classic cast of melodramatic Spanish soap opera characters find themselves living out one of the greatest classic stories of all time when Archway Theatre welcomes Force of Nature Productions original world premiere of 'Telenovela Christmas Carol' 8 p.m. Todays and Saturdays; 2 p.m. Sundays, Dec. 2 through Dec. 18. General admission tickets are $28.
