The Hatbox Theatre presents Dickens' A Christmas Carol for three weekends from November 29 through December 16. Shows are Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, Thursday and Saturday shows at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2:00pm. Tickets are $17, $14 for members, seniors, and students, and $12 for senior members.     The Dutch Apple's production of A Christmas Carol is a great piece of festive entertainment.  Although it doesn't set out to reinvent the story in any significant way, many audience members will  appreciate the tradition and familiarity that it brings.

The company's take on Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol descends into all the comedic mayhem and madness of a live radio show, resulting in a heart-warming dramatic climax.

The Chicago theatre community will present a wide variety of festive plays, musicals, dance and comedy offerings this Holiday season.  In support, the League of Chicago Theatres will create its annual comprehensive Holiday Theatre Guide that will be available beginning in mid-November at hotels, theaters, events, and destinations across the Chicago area. The Holiday Hootenanny Radio Hour is pleased to announce Nick Thornton's heart warming new radio play CRICKET ON THE MANTLE, with music directed and arranged by Mike Mazzocca, as its inaugural presentation.
