Last night, I saw the completely charming production of 'La Famille Addams' at Th tre Le Palace. This musical written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice with words and music by Andrew Lippa is based on popular American cartoon strip 'The Addams Family' which later became a television series with a huge cult following. I fondly recall watching this series when I was a boy. Mr. Charles Addams' characters have also appeared in two Hollywood feature films. I would say it would be hard to find someone who hasn't heard of this kooky family.

Most of us can remember watching the 1960's tv series starring Jon Astin and Carolyn Jones, either live or in reruns. In 2009 the new musical had a trial run in Chicago. After some editing of the musical numbers, they found their way to Broadway in 2010.
