Partial Comfort Productions Extends AND MILES TO GO Through 11/2

Partial Comfort Productions (Drama Desk nominee A Bright New Boise) kicks off it's 11th season with the World Premiere of AND MILES TO GO by Chad Beckim. Directed by Hal Brooks (Pulitzer Prize finalist Thom Pain), previews begin October 3 at The Wild Project. Opening night is slated for Thursday, October 10. Originally, scheduled to close October 26, performances have been extended through November 2nd by popular demand.

Wasps will run from July 24th through July 28th at the Connelly Theater. July 24th- 26th performances are at 8pm, July 27th at 5pm and 9pm, and July 28th at 2pm. Ars Nova Now Accepting Applications for Play Group 2014; Deadline 8/5

Ars Nova (Jason Eagan, Artistic Director; Jeremy Blocker, Managing Director) is now accepting applications for Play Group, a vibrant and eclectic group of emerging writers who gather twice a month at Ars Nova to share new work and get peer feedback. The group offers members the chance to develop their plays with peer support; to be inspired by each other's work; to form collaborative relationships; and to build a strong sense of community within Ars Nova. All emerging playwrights are eligible for membership. If selected, new members will be invited to join for a period of two years beginning in January of 2014.

'After,' part of the BAC's Professional Theater Series, was produced at Profiles Theatre in the fall, garnering critical and audience acclaim, and will be brought to the BAC stage through a grant from the Chicago Community Trust.

Performances are held at Profiles original venue, The Alley Stage, 4147 N. Broadway.
