Warner Archive Collection announces its latest releases!

More than 50 years after it premiered on the ABC network, the variety shows Here's Edie and The Edie Adams Show (www.edieadams.com) are set for release on DVD and digital formats.

The Alhambra Theatre & Dining will feel like the beaches of North Carolina this August as it opens The Dixie Swim Club, a heartwarming comedy about the power of friendship by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope & Jamie Wooten. The play focuses on five Southern women who met on their college swim team and for 30 years have set aside a long weekend every August to meet up at the same beach cottage on North Carolina's Outer Banks to recharge their relationships. Free from their husbands, children, and jobs, the ladies catch up, laugh and meddle in each other's lives.

For its annual summer family show, the Alhambra Theatre & Dining will stage the Andrew Lloyd Webber hit, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. Written by Weber with lyrics by Tim Rice, this Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors comes to vibrant life in this delightful musical parable. Joseph, his father's favorite son, is a boy blessed with prophetic dreams. When he is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt, Joseph endures a series of adventures in which his spirit and humanity are continually challenged. Set to an engaging cornucopia of musical styles, from country-western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock 'n' roll, this Old Testament tale emerges both timely and timeless. The show opened in London's West End in 1973 and then on Broadway in 1982. It has enjoyed several revivals, including a current UK tour since 2010.

Originally billed as 'a new Musical Comedy' by George and Ira Gershwin, the production is heavily based on Girl Crazy, a show written by the songwriting team back in 1930. Crazy for You will open at the new Alhambra Theatre & Dining tonight, March 20.

Originally billed as 'a new Musical Comedy' by George and Ira Gershwin, the production is heavily based on Girl Crazy, a show written by the songwriting team back in 1930. Winning a Pulitzer Prize in 1988 and the Oscar for Best Picture in 1989, "Driving Miss Daisy" is opening at the Alhambra Theatre on February 5. Appropriate for a play of such esteem, the Alhambra has brought in not one, as has been its custom of late, but two stars to carry the show: four-time Emmy Award Winner, Michael Learned will star as Daisy Werthan and Lance Nichols, star of the HBO series TREME, as her chauffeur, Hoke Coleburn. This will be the fourth time Learned and Nichols will star together in "Driving Miss Daisy." Rounding out the three-person cast is Michael Edward Hodge, a New York actor who plays Daisy's son, Boolie Werthan.

The Alhambra Theatre & Dining will be rocking southern style when it opens it 2013 campaign with the renowned Johnny Cash tribute show, 'Ring of Fire, the Johnny Cash Musical Show.' The show features eight actors and a four-piece live band, bringing theatrical life to Cash's classic story songs. A true tribute to the man and his music, the show does not actually feature an actor playing Cash, who died in 2003, but it does chronicle his most-interesting life - from his debut at the Grand Ole Opry to Folsom County Prison and back to stardom. The show opened in 2006 at Broadway's Barrymore Theatre.

Craig Smith, Managing Partner of the new Alhambra Theatre & Dining announced this morning that Joyce DeWitt will star in Sam Bobrick's romantic comedy, Remember Me. Miss DeWitt is most widely known to audiences for her starring role as 'Janet Wood' in the ABC Television hit series "Three's Company," but she is no stranger to live theater, working both as actress and director in a stage career which spans over forty years. She recently starred in A Scattered, Smothered and Covered Christmas Musical and the Canadian productions of the 2000 Pulitzer Prize-winning play Dinner With Friends and Alfred Uhry's Tony Award-winning play The Last Night of Ballyhoo.

Holy Licensing Program, Batman! Warner Bros. Consumer Products (WBCP) unveiled today, in advance of Licensing Show 2012, a new licensing program inspired by the classic 1960?s television series, Batman.
