George London Foundation For Singers Mourns the Loss of President Nora E. London

The George London Foundation for Singers announces with sorrow that Nora E. London passed away on June 23, 2022, at the age of 98. Born Nora Schapiro on January 8, 1924, in Berlin, she was raised in Europe, coming to the United States at the beginning of World War II.

While the event is usually held with in-person audience, this year’s audience was virtual. Susanna Phillips, international opera star and 2005 George London Award winner, was the livestream host.
