Philip Glass, one of America's most esteemed composers, will be the subject of a remix project due today, October 23 on Orange Mountain Music. The idea for the record came together during a conversation between Philip and his friend and new collaborator Beck. The pair recruited producer Hector Castillo (David Bowie, Bjork, Lou Reed) to help assemble a collection of remixes of Glass' works by a list of critically acclaimed artists including Beck himself, Tyondai Braxton, Amon Tobin, Cornelius, Johann Johannsson, Nosaj Thing, Memory Tapes, Silver Alert and many others.

Yoshi's Jazz Club & Japanese Restaurant on Fillmore Street just added the following concerts at its world-renowned San Francisco venue: Flamenco Rumba Salsa band: Kaweh Sextet with Edgardo Cambon, Danilo Paiz, David Belove, Alex Specht & Willie Garza (Wed, 11/7, 8pm), World-renowned Paraguayan harpist & violinist: Carlos Reyes (Tue, 11/20, 8pm), Jazz Fusion Pioneers: Jeff Lorber with Jimmy Haslip, Eric Marienthal & Gary Novak (Wed, 11/21, 8pm), Cuba's Finest: Havana D'Primera (Sat, 11/24, 8 & 10pm) and Comedian Don Reed's East 14th - A Benefit for 51Oakland (Sun, 12/2, 7pm).

Dynamic producing duo Executive Producer, Mr. Voza Rivers' New Heritage Theater and Ms. Debra Ann Byrd's Take Wing and Soar will team up to bring Pauletta Pearson Washington and Roscoe Orman to the New York stage for a revival production of Lorey Hayes' POWER PLAY, a story about politics, passion and the power of God.

Woodie King Jr's New Federal Theatre, in association with Castillo Theatre, will present Sowa's Red Gravy by Diane Richards at Castillo Theatre (543 West 42nd Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues.). Performances begin tomorrow, October 18th with Opening Night set for Sunday, October 28th. Performances continue through November 18th only. Get a first look at the production in the photos below!

While Mondays get a really bad rep for being the start of a work week, those who have been watching The Voice for a while know with that show, there is now something redeemable about such a universally un-motivating day. The Battle Rounds week two continued in full force. However, with the compatibility of all of these singers, the audience was left wondering if these should be called the "Battle Rounds" at all, because nothing about tonight resembled a battlefield.

Chugg Entertainment confirms that legendary composer and performer, Yanni, is set to continue his World Tour throughout into early 2013 with dates in Australia. The tour will begin in New Zealand on Saturday 12th January at Vector Arena, before travelling to Australia to begin at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Tuesday 15th January, Sydney Entertainment Centre on Thursday 17th January, Melbourne's Palais Theatre on Saturday 19th January, Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Wednesday 23rd January and finishing up at the Perth Arena on Sunday 27th January.

As Halloween nears, NBC turns Friday, October 26 into Fright Night when it premieres the pilot of the much-anticipated MOCKINGBIRD LANE (8-9 p.m. ET) - based on executive producer Bryan Fuller's ("Pushing Daisies," "Heroes") script and directed by executive producer Bryan Singer ("X-Men" film series, "House").

NBC's acclaimed drama series GRIMM will join with Telemundo, mun2 and Universal Studios Hollywood's 'Halloween Horror Nights' in an unprecedented NBCUniversal cross-divisional event when its Halloween episode 'La Llorona' is broadcast on October 26/27.

Resonance Ensemble announces its 10th anniversary season with "Connecting Circuits" featuring two shows in rep, a classic play and new play with resonating themes. This season includes the classic 1920 play R.U.R. by Karel Capek, adapted by Lee Eric Shackleford, directed by Valentina Fratti in rep with THE TRUTH QUOTIENT, by award-winning playwright Richard Manley, directed By Eric Parness. The season will run from January 9 - February 2, 2013 at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre (410 West 42 Street).

Attending the 13th Annual Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors (HOLA) Awards presented by Delta Air Lines tonight, October 8, 2012 will be SAG-AFTRA elected leadership reps that include national SAG-AFTRA Co- President, Roberta Reardon and national SAG-AFTRA Co-Treasurer and Co-Secretary, Amy Aquino. Also joining the celebration will be Tony Plana, Tony Shalhoub, Brooke Adams and CNN's Jane Vélez-Mitchell. A special tribute to the late Lupe Ontiveros will be given by Latin Heat Editor and co-host of 'HOLA L.A.' Bel Hernández. Odalys Molina and Jorge Ramos will serve as the Masters of Ceremonies of this year's HOLA Awards.

ZACH, Austin's Theatre and Texas' longest running theatre, in its first youth production of the season, presents the world premiere of MARIACHI GIRL, written by Roxanne Shroeder-Arce, Music and Lyrics by Hector Martinez Moralez, and Directed by Brant Pope.

The Castillo Theatre is opening its 29th season with the American premiere of Children of Killers by award-wining playwright, Katori Hall. Ms. Hall comes to Castillo fresh from the London and Broadway triumphs of The Mountaintop, her play about the last night of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and from the premiere at the Signature Theatre of Hurt Village, a play set in the projects of her hometown of Memphis. The Mountaintop won the Olivier Award for best play in 2010. Hurt Village won the 2011 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize. Ms. Hall is pleased that Children of Killers is being presented to Castillo's diverse audience.

Philadelphia-based Breaking Glass Pictures has acquired all domestic theatrical and ancillary rights to K-11, the directorial debut of veteran script supervisor Jules Stewart, the mother of The Twilight Saga actress Kristen Stewart.

Tonight's episode of The Voice was slightly unusual because it was almost a recap in and of itself. The purpose of the show tonight was to refresh the audience on who the contestants were, what they sang, and of course on whose team they are now.
