MCC THEATER has announced that Beth Behrs, the star of CBS's '2 Broke Girls,' will lead the cast of the world premiere of Halley Feiffer's comedy A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Gynecologic Oncology Unit at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center of New York City. Behrs will be joined by Obie winner Lisa Emery, most recently seen on the hit Netflix drama 'Jessica Jones,' as well as stage veteran Jacqueline Sydney. Additional casting will be announced at a later date. Obie winner Trip Cullman directs the production which begins previews on May 19, 2016 ahead of a June 7, 2016 opening night. People's Choice Awards Executive Producer Mark Burnett was on hand to announce the hosts for the live awards show, Beth Behrs and Kat Dennings, stars of the CBS sitcom '2 Broke Girls.'
