The Broadway-aimed musical Americano!, inspired by the life of DREAMer and community organizer Tony Valdovinos, has announced its complete cast. The world-premiere production, running January 29 - February 23 at Phoenix, Arizona's The Phoenix Theatre Company, will feature Sean Ewing (Broadway's West Side Story, Amazing Grace) as Tony Valdovinos, leading a company including Johanna Carlisle-Zepeda, Maria Amorocho, Edgar Lopez, Alyssa Gomez, Joseph Cannon, Justin Figueroa, Michael Scott, Sonia Rodriguez Wood, Anson Romney, Chris Eriksen, Joseph Cavasos, Matravius Avent, Jessie Jo Pauley, Shani Barrett, Nicholas Flores, Ricco Machado-Torres, Lucas Coatney, Anne-Lise Koyabe, Tarnim Bybee, Cole Newburg, Elyssa Blonder and Aidan Lutton.

Tony Valdovinos will be watching those arguments and how the Supreme Court rules on DACA. Valdovinos is a DREAMer. His parents brought him to the U.S. from Mexico when he was 2 years old. Tony did not know that until his 18th birthday when he tried to fulfill his dream of serving his country by joining the U.S. Marines.

The concert will also feature performances by local powerhouses Carrie Rodriguez and Jane Ellen Bryantand will benefit Niñas Arriba, a college fund that Chavez co-founded for young Latinas in a gang-dominated suburb of San Salvador, El Salvador. This year's concert will also celebrate Niñas Arriba's first four college graduates with 100 percent of the proceeds supporting the program. Doors are at 7 p.m. General admission tickets to the show are $17 and VIP tickets are $50. Tickets are currently on sale and can be purchased here.
