Shakespeare & Company will present a staged reading of William Shakespeare's masterpiece, Hamlet, on Saturday, October 8th at 7pm. Featuring Finn Wittrock of American Horror Story and The Big Short, and other special guests, the reading will be presented in the Tina Packer Playhouse, and will be directed by Kevin G. Coleman, Shakespeare & Company's Director of Education and a 2016 Tony Award nominee.
WAM Theatre is pleased to announce the cast for the opening event in the 2016 Fresh Takes Play Reading Series, The Last Wife by Kate Hennig, directed by WAM Artistic Associate and Fresh Takes Curator Molly Clancy. Shakespeare & Company has finalized casting for its 38th performance season, and released a complete schedule of Opening Night dates. The announcement was made this week by Interim Artistic Directors Ariel Bock and Jonathan Croy, along with a positive report from Interim Managing Director Stephen D. Director Jenna Ware, who also adapted the piece, pulls out all of the stops with this riotously funny play.
