Pam MacKinnon to Direct Atlantic Theater Company's THE LYING LESSON

Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) just announced that Tony Award nominated director Pam MacKinnon (Clybourne Park, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?) will direct actress Mickey Sumner (film Frances Ha, Showtime's "The Borgias") in the world premiere of Pulitzer Prize finalist and Tony Award nominee Craig Lucas's new comedy THE LYING LESSON, joining previously announced star Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Carol Kane (Wicked, "Taxi").

HBO Premieres GIRLS Season 2 Tonight

Emmy(R)-Winning Comedy Series GIRLS, created by and starring Lena Dunham will return for Second Season tonight, Jan. 13, Exclusively on HBO. Guest stars this season will include Andrew Rannells, Donald Glover, Chris O'Dowd, Rita Wilson, Jorma Taccone, Rosanna Arquette, Carol Kane and Patrick Wilson.

HBO Orders Comedy Pilot from GIRLS Writer

HBO has officially picked up a comedy pilot from GIRLS scribe Bruce Eric Kaplan, the network announced today. The pilot, PEOPLE IN NEW JERSEY, follows two siblings living just south of New York, who desperately attempt to get through life on a day-by-day basis. SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE's Lorne Michaels will produce alongside acclaimed director Jason Reitman and Kaplan.

Mike Birbiglia's SLEEPWALK WITH ME Will be Available on iTunes December 4

IFC Films announced today that director Mike Birbiglia's critical and box office hit Sleepwalk With Me will be available to purchase exclusively on iTunes in the US & Canada from December 4th through December 17th. Beginning December 18th, fans will also be able to rent the film on iTunes.

Anthony Arkin, Keir Dullea and Carol Kane Join Rotating Cast of Culture Project's THE EXONERATED, 11/6-11

Culture Project, in association with Innocence Project, Marc & Steven Kaplan, and Cheryl Wiesenfeld, welcomes Anthony Arkin (I'm Not Rappaport), Keir Dullea (Butterflies Are Free; 2001: A Space Odyssey) and Carol Kane (Wicked, Hester Street) to the rotating cast of the 10th anniversary production of the hit, award-winning play, The Exonerated, written by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen, for one-week only November 6 - 11 at Culture Project (45 Bleecker Street at Lafayette Street) where performances began September 15 for a limited engagement through December 2nd. Marsha Mason will join the rotating cast November 13 -18.

Rockville Centre's Madison Theatre to Present LONG ISLAND EXPRESS PLAYS and CELEBRITY AUTOBIOGRAPHY, 10/28 & 29

The Madison Theatre at Molloy College of Rockville Centre, New York (Angelo Fraboni, Artistic Director), will present a benefit reading of Long Island Express Plays, written by Eugene Pack, on Sunday, October 28, at 3pm. The reading will star Noah Fleiss ("Fringe"), Helen Hanft (Moonstruck), Carol Kane ("Cheers," Princess Bride, "Taxi"), Natasha Lyonne (American Pie, "Weeds"), and Dayle Reyfel (Drama Desk Winner for Celebrity Autobiography).
