Yesterday, July 14, Bernadette Peters and Mary Tyler Moore hosted the 14th annual BROADWAY BARKS!, a star-studded dog and cat adoption event benefiting New York City animal shelters and adoption agencies. The first official trailer of comedian Mike Birbiglia's Sundance selected indie SLEEPWALK WITH ME has been released. Birbiglia writes, co-directs and stars in the film, based on the comedian-turned-playwright-turned-filmmaker's own one-man show and book of the same name. The festivities begin at 3:30 p.m.; celebrity presentations of pets from animal shelters citywide will take place between 5-6:30 p.m.
