Viagara Falls, a new comedy by Lou Cutell and Joao Machado, comes to New York this summer. Presented by Stanley Browne, John Finocchio and SJ Productions, Inc., Viagara Falls begins performances at the Little Shubert Theatre Monday, July 5th. Opening night is Wednesday, July 21.

Since first arriving in Nashville, David McGinnis has kept busy on various stages around town -- his first onstage role in Music City was in La Cage Aux Folles, a show I directed for Circle Players more than 10 years ago -- either performing roles or serving in a technical capacity, most likely designing the lighting plan for a new production. Actress/singer/dancer Lesli Margherita is a super talented artist.
She's been in The Grave White Way, Beehive, Zorba for Reprise!, among many other shows.
And...she's already won an Olivier Award (Great Britain's Tony) for Featured Actress in a Musical - unusual for an American artist - and is currently finishing up her run in the controversial world premiere of Michael LaChiusa's See What I Wanna See on Sunday May 30 at the Blank Theatre. On Tuesday June 8 she will perform her acclaimed one-woman show All Hail the Queen once more for one night only at Level 3 in Hollywood. We talked about her theatrical successes here and abroad.

On Monday, May 3rd, Broadway legend Bernadette Peters hosted a performance and book signing for her latest publication, Stella is a Star. The event took place at Dylan's Candy Bar from 3-5PM. Guests also participated in a live raffle drawing for which the winner was awarded the chance to appear onstage with Bernadette Peters & Mary Tyler Moore at this year's Broadway Barks on Saturday, July 10th in Shubert Alley.
