Viagara Falls, a new comedy by Lou Cutell and Joao Machado, comes to New York this summer. Presented by Stanley Browne, John Finocchio and SJ Productions, Inc., Viagara Falls begins performances at the Little Shubert Theatre Monday, July 5th. Opening night is Wednesday, July 21.

Since first arriving in Nashville, David McGinnis has kept busy on various stages around town -- his first onstage role in Music City was in La Cage Aux Folles, a show I directed for Circle Players more than 10 years ago -- either performing roles or serving in a technical capacity, most likely designing the lighting plan for a new production. Broadway star Bernadette Peters will appear on Fox 5's 'Good Morning New York' on May 28, 2010 to promote her new children's book, 'Stella is a Star.' Peters will discuss the book and her efforts to raise money for her charity Broadway Barks.

According to People Ellen DeGeneres is launching her own record label called eleveneleven. Degeneres says she was inspired by Greyson Chance the youtube sensation to start the label and has signed Chance on as her first artist.

The Norris Center for the Performing Arts Artistic Director James W. Gruessing Jr. has announced the 20010-2011 season, which boasts a full schedule of 23 productions.
