New English Ballet Theatre, founded by its Artistic Director Karen Pilkington-Miksa, made its successful debut at the Peacock Theatre in 2012. A highly profile performance at the ROH Linbury Theatre followed in October 2013 and this July sees the company return to the Peacock with an ambitious, exciting programme of five world premieres by the cream of the UK's emerging choreographic talent. With five performances at the Peacock Theatre and two at Canary Wharf's hidden gem of a theatre, Lanterns Studio Theatre, NEBT will present Tryst: Devotion and Betrayal, a varied and compelling evening performed by NEBT dancers and guest musicians with sets and costumes by rising designers.

Daria Klimentová, English National Ballet Lead Principal and one of the most respected and accomplished stars of classical ballet, has announced she will retire after dancing the role of Juliet at the Royal Albert Hall in June. Vadim Muntagirov, with whom she has formed one of the most admired ballet partnerships of modern times, will return to the Company to play Romeo in Derek Deane's spectacular production of Romeo & Juliet in-the-round.

Fathom Events, Arts Alliance Media and Mr Wolf extend the splendor of Great Britain's world-renowned Royal Ballet to select U.S. movie theaters with the continuation of “The Royal Ballet 2014 Cinema Season.” With a new production of special one-night performances brought to the big screen monthly through March, this series of popular storybook and classic ballets will begin with the romantic “Giselle” on Monday, Jan. 27; followed by the legendary “Swan Lake” on Thursday, Feb. 20; and the classic tale “The Sleeping Beauty” on Thursday, March 20. The renowned Royal Ballet, based at the Royal Opera House in London's Covent Garden, is led by Director Kevin O'Hare and features a wide-ranging repertory showcasing the great classical ballets as well as the new works choreographed by Sir Frederick Ashton, Sir Kenneth MacMillan and the foremost choreographers of today. Previous ballets in the series included 2013's “Don Quixote,” “Alice's Adventures in Wonderland” and “The Nutcracker” concluding the 2013 series on Dec. 17, 2013.
Museum of Fine Arts Houston to Present Encore Screening of BREAKING BOUNDARIES, 11/11

On Sunday, Nov. 10 at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, the 2013 Houston Cinema Arts Festival will present the world premiere of a new documentary on the rich five-decade history of Houston Ballet - Houston Ballet: Breaking Boundaries - at 4:00 p.m. An encore screening of the film will be held at Sundance Cinemas on Monday, Nov. 11 at 6:45 p.m. Both screenings are free and open to the public. No advance tickets will be issued. Attendees should arrive at the venue 30 minutes prior to the screening for the best chance of being seated.
