Written by Lynn Nottage and starring theatre and film veterans, Yanna McIntosh and Sterling Jarvis, the story is set in a small mining town in the civil war-torn Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Paula Brancati, Lauren Collins, Wendy Crewson, Cynthia Dale, Andrea Martin, and Louise Pitre are officially set to be the first cast of the Toronto production of LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE. As in the initial New York staging of the play by Nora and Delia Ephron, the production will feature a company of six that rotates in four-week cycles. The next cast will be announced in the next upcoming weeks.

Act II Playhouse will end its run of the intimate new musical The Story of My Life, on May 23 and written by Neil Bartram (music and lyrics) and Brian Hill (book). Directed by Bud Martin, The Story of My Life stars Tony Braithwaite and Jim Stanek as lifelong best friends.

MONSTER is a revelatory theatrical experience which peels back the layers of humanity to reveal what's at the core of human experience. The multi-character format intertwines 16 diverse characters surrounding a vengeful, blood-curdling, torturous murder. MONSTER shatters the 4th wall, engages the audience and ultimately demands they confront their fundamental beliefs.

The Canadian Stage Company's Festival of Ideas & Creation returns May 10 - 22 to the Berkeley Street Theatre, 26 Berkeley Street, Toronto.

terraNOVA Collective & Really Sketchy presents MONSTER by Daniel MacIvor. The show is directed by Steve Cook, performed by Avery Pearson, with lighting Design by Robin A. Paterson, theatrical Consultant Byron Laviolette and associate produced by The Bridge Theatre Company.
