Roundabout Partners with TodayTix for 50th Anniversary Season

Roundabout Theater Company announced today that they have partnered with TodayTix, the premiere mobile theater ticketing app, to offer Retro Roundabout. In honor of Roundabout's founding year $19.65 lottery orchestra tickets will be exclusively available via the TodayTix app to all shows during Roundabout's 2015-16 50th Anniversary Season.

2015 Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction Raises Record-Breaking Amount for BC/EFA

Broadway fans celebrated the 29th Annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction by bidding on and buying everything from tickets to a bevy of opening night performances to custom-made music mixes, from autographed musical phrases to once-in-a-lifetime theatrical experiences. The result: a record $756,655 was raised for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Megan Hilty Plays Valley Performing Arts Center Tonight

Valley Performing Arts Center (VPAC) presents Megan Hilty In Concert tonight, September 24 at 8:00 pm.  The vivacious star of Wicked at the Pantages Theatre, New York Encores' Gentleman Prefer Blondes and 9 to 5: The Musical at the Ahmanson and on Broadway, as well as the NBC hit television series Smash, Megan takes the stage for an unforgettable evening of Broadway standards, Hollywood favorites, and songs from her album, It Happens all the Time.

Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival to Present Halloween Radio Dramas

After wrapping up a critically acclaimed summer season under its outdoor theater tent, the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival is heading indoors. Under the direction of Mike Donahue (The Legend of Georgia McBride, Annie Baker's adaptation of Uncle Vanya), HVSF actors and Foley artists will transport audiences back to the classic age of radio drama in the intimate setting of the Boscobel Mansion to present Suspense! Halloween Radio, two spine-tingling radio dramas The Hitchhiker and Sorry, Wrong Number by Lucille Fletcher. Performances are October 28-31 and November 4-8. All performances begin at 7pm. A special reception will follow the performances on October 28 and October 31. Tickets for those performances are $70. Tickets for all other performances are $50. Seniors, members of the military, and students receive applicable discounts. The 2015-2016 Roundabout Underground production is Ugly Lies the Bone, a new play by Lindsey Ferrentino, directed by Patricia McGregor. THE LEGEND OF GEORGIA MCBRIDE begins previews tonight, August 20, 2015 ahead of a September 9, 2015 opening night.
