Following triumphant performances of Pericles at the National Theatre in summer 2018, the next Public Acts production of As You Like It is currently in rehearsals and will play from 24 – 27 August. Queen's Theatre Hornchurch's Artistic Director, Douglas Rintoul will direct this musical adaptation of the William Shakespeare classic.

Cressida Brown directs a bold new version of the classic Greek myth of Icarus from German playwright Katrin Lange, in a translation by Purni Morell. This epic, thrilling and funny adventure story - with an original score and spectacular stagecraft - re-imagines the myth from Icarus' perspective.

In 2010, Lisa Hammond and Rachael Spence created a show called No Idea based entirely on what the general public said they should make a piece of theatre about. The result was an uncomfortable and comic take on how often disabled people are written out of the main narrative, becoming relegated to the sidelines as the main action happens without them.

For over a decade, Secret Cinema has been creating imaginative and immersive worlds for audiences to explore and experience. Combining music, theatre, art and (of course) film, it's an artform and night out unlike any other. The next world awaits this summer and it's one which 'has been on the cards for a long time': Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet. Founder Fabien Riggall takes us back to the early roots of Secret Cinema, explains why they've chosen this world this year, and looks ahead to the future.

East London Dance announces a 12-month programme of new productions, projects and partnerships in 2018 to celebrate three decades as the leading producer of creative dance experiences for the people of east London and beyond.

'MEIWES/BRANDES' is a daring, raw and original piece of music theatre created by four RADA graduates, which chronicles the true story of a dark and disturbing relationship. It premiers in February at The Actors Centre as part The Tristan Bates Theatre's inaugural 'John Thaw Initiative.'

Rose Theatre Kingston and Nick Brooke Productions Ltd present The Night Pirates, adapted from the best-selling children's book by Peter Harris and Deborah Allwright. Miranda Larson directs Charlotte Cooper (Storyteller One), Will Jennings (Storyteller Three), Victoria Lucie (Storyteller Two) and Jack McNeill (Tom).
