Bad Quarto Productions, a theatre company specializing in performing modern theatre using Shakespearean staging techniques, will stage The Taming of a Shrew, the earliest printed version of Shakespeare's famous Shrew play. Printed in 1594, The Taming of a Shrew dates from the earliest moments in Shakespeare's career as a writer and actor, when the man we all know simply as 'the Bard' was a relative newcomer to the London theatre scene of Renaissance England.
