'The Rhapsody of the Flesh' - The charms and well intended matchmaking antics of Luc's visiting mother, Gabriela (guest-starring Sonia Braga), quickly turn to high drama as she sticks her nose in Nora's romantic affairs, on ABC's 'Brothers & Sisters,' SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 14 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

ABC has picked up additional episodes of new and returning series for the 2010-11 Season, it was announced today by Paul Lee, president, ABC Entertainment Group. New series 'Better With You' and 'No Ordinary Family' receive full season orders, and additional episodes were ordered for 'Detroit 1-8-7' and returning series 'Brothers & Sisters.'

'Call Mom' - Nora's motherly skills and advice catch the attention of a radio producer who invites her to audition for a new show. But when Nora follows through with the invite, she suddenly finds herself out of her league, competing with a famous personality, Dr. Alexandra Kirby (guest star Debra Monk). Meanwhile, as Kevin and Justin go through some life lessons of their own, Kitty heads back into the dating game with her Ojai handyman, Jack (guest star Jeremy Davidson), on 'Brothers & Sisters,' SUNDAY, OCTOBER 24 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

'Resolved' - Justin suddenly takes a much more keen interest in Holly's recovery after a nurse (guest starring Odette Yustman as Annie) at the hospital catches his eye; Nora's fellow radio host, psychiatrist Dr. Karl, finds his way into Nora's heart when he helps Sarah and Kitty resolve some old sisterly squabbles; and Paige helps Kevin and Scotty find forgiveness, on 'Brothers & Sisters,' SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 7 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Goodman Theatre announces the 12-member cast for Robert Fall's intimate new production of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull (rehearsals begin August 24, tickets go on sale August 13). This 19th century masterpiece is brought to life by a company including Francis Guinan (August: Osage County; The Grapes of Wrath) in his Goodman debut as the retired judge Peter Sorin and Mary Beth Fisher (Rock 'N' Roll; The Year of Magical Thinking) as his sister, Irina Arkadina, a beautiful, selfish actress. Artistic Director Robert Falls trades epic for minimalistic in his actor-centric revival of Anton Chekhov's classic The Seagull, with a cast that includes some of Chicago's most celebrated talent. The culmination of two years of meticulous research and preparation, this production of The Seagull marks a departure from Falls' recent large-scale work-and a focus on the method of Konstantin Stanislavsky, the man often credited as 'the father of modern theater.' Hana Sharif has been named associate artistic director of Hartford Stage, the Hartford Courant's Behind the Curtain blog reports. Sharif will succeed Jeremy B. Cohen, who is to become producing director of Minneapolis's The Playwrights Center, on August 9.

Hartford Stage has announced a dynamic 2010-2011 season which includes Tony winners Ben Vereen and Chita Rivera in their SummerStage program. Both will be presenting back to back solo shows each with one week runs at the Roberts Theatre just outside of Hartford. Rivera will play there June 22 to 27 and Vereen July 6 to 11.
