The Winter Garden Theatre Box Office Now Open for SCHOOL OF ROCK-THE MUSICAL World Premiere

The box office officially opens today for the World Premiere of School of Rock - The Musical at the Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway). Previews will begin on Monday, November 9, 2015, with an opening set for Sunday, December 6, 2015. Tickets for School of Rock - The Musical are available by visiting the Winter Garden Theatre box office Monday - Saturdays between 10:00 am - 8:00 pm, online at Telecharge.com, or by calling 800-447-7400.

Ready to Rock- SCHOOL OF ROCK Finds Full Broadway Cast!

Andrew Lloyd Webber announced today the complete cast for School of Rock - The Musical, which will have its World Premiere on Broadway.  Based on the smash hit 2003 film of the same title, School of Rock will feature music from the movie, as well as an original score by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyricist Glenn Slater, with a book by Julian Fellowes and direction by Laurence Connor (currently represented on Broadway by Les Miserables). Previews will begin on Monday, November 9, 2015 at the Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway), with an opening set for Sunday, December 6, 2015.

The show is created by Aitor Basauri, Zachary Fine and Lucas Caleb Rooney, performed by Zachary Fine and Lucas Caleb Rooney, directed by Aitor Basauri (founding member of Spy Monkey theatre company), choreography by Caroline Fermin (company member of Galim Dance) and puppets by Annie Worden. 'BEWARE OF YOUNG GIRLS' to Make US Premiere at 59E59 Theaters

59E59 Theaters welcomes Pegasus Theatre with the US premiere of BEWARE OF YOUNG GIRLS: KATE DIMBLEBY SINGS THE DORY PREVIN STORY, created and performed by Kate Dimbleby, accompanied by Naadia Sheriff on piano. Written with Amy Rosenthal, and directed by Cal McCrystal, BEWARE OF YOUNG GIRLS begins performances on Tuesday, December 16 for a limited engagement through Sunday, January 4. Press opening is Thursday, December 18 at 7:15 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:15 PM; Friday at 8:15 PM; Saturday at 5:15 PM & 8:15 PM; and Sunday at 3:15 PM & 7:15 PM. Please note, there is no performance on December 25; the performances on December 24 and December 31 are at 6:15 PM. Alain Boublil's Wife Maria Zamora Will Star in Premiere of MANHATTAN PRISIENNE at 59E59 Theaters

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, 59E59 Theaters recently announced a line-up of shows for Fall 2014, which will take place at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). One of the selections is Alain Boublil's MANHATTAN PARISIENNE, directed by Graciela Daniele and running December 18 - January 4. Now according to the New York Times, the premiere will star star Boublil's wife, Maria Zamora.
