'Drunkle Vanya,' Three Day Hangover's daring adaptation of Chekhov's 'Uncle Vanya,' is extending at Russian Samovar, 256 West 52nd Street, through March 4.  The six-character interactive and immersive production, in which the audience literally melts into the furniture of the decadently appointed Tolstoy Lounge, started an 8-week run on November 10, found its footing, and has now added eight more weeks through March 4.   Adapted and directed by Lori Wolter Hudson, and produced by Three Day Hangover, with Roman Gambourg, Darren Sussman, and Misha von Shats, 'Drunkle Vanya' will open officially on Friday February 3 at 7:30pm.

The Dreamscape Theatre has announced the world premiere production of The Improbable Fall, Rise & Fall of John Law (part 1), a new play about money (based on an unbelievable true story) by Matt Herzfeld.  The production, directed by Dreamscape's Producing Artistic Director Brad Raimondo, will be staged at The IRT Theater, 154 Christopher Street, Suite 3B, March 9th - 26th, 2016.

Penny Jackson's dark comedy I KNOW WHAT BOYS WANT, now playing at Theatre Row's Lion Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street, NYC, will host a talk-back about cyber bullying following the 3 PM Sunday matinee on July 26th lead by Nicholas Carlisle, the founder of No Bully, an evidence-based program that leverages student empathy to stop bullying and cyber bullying.  The No Bully System has created bully-free campuses for over 120,000 students.

Ego Actus will present the World Premiere of Penny Jackson's dark comedy I KNOW WHAT BOYS WANT at Theatre Row's Lion Theatre, 410 West 42nd Street, NYC, beginning performances on July 16th, opening July 18th at 8 PM and continuing through August 2nd. The Equity production will be directed by Joan Kane with scene design by David Goldstein, costumes by Caitlin Cisek, lights by Dennis Parichy, sound by Andy Evan Cohen, projections by Jim Marlow. The Award-Winning Astoria Performing Arts Center (APAC) has announced the world premiere production of Cody Daigle's (resident playwright for The Playhouse Tulsa's 2013-14 season) In The Bones, directed by Dev Bondarin. In other exciting news, Bondarin has just been named APAC's new Artistic Director, assuming the role that Tom Wojtunik stepped down from in June. In The Bones will play a limited engagement at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 30-44 Crescent St (@30th Rd), in Astoria, Queens. Performances begin Thursday, November 6 and continue through Saturday, November 22. Opening Night is Saturday, November 8 (8 p.m.).

Kathryn Rossetter, who appeared on Broadway opposite Dustin Hoffman in Death Of a Salesman and is currently head of the MFA Acting Program at the New School for Drama, will join Adam LeFevre (Broadway's Footloose, Mamma Mia, Guys and Dolls) in the World Premiere of MR. LANDING TAKES A FALL, an absurdist comedy by Sari Caine. Inspired by Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, the play was a PlayPenn 2013 semi-finalist and short-listed for both the 24/7 (UK) and the Ronald Duncan Award (UK). It is produced by Slightly Altered States Theater Company and directed by Sherri Eden Barber. Previews begin September 12 at The Flea Theater with opening slated for Monday, September 22.
