The cast of THE BOOK OF MORMON will open the 66th Annual Tony Awards on Sunday, June 10th, according to the New York Post.

The Tony Awards has announced the line-up of performances for the 66th Annual Tony Awards on Sunday, June 10th. The evening, which will be packed with more entertainment than ever before, will feature performances by 2012 Tony Nominated Musicals including: Evita featuring Ricky Martin and Elena Roger; Follies featuring Tony nominated actor Danny Burstein; The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess featuring Tony nominees Audra McDonald, Norm Lewis and David Alan Grier; Jesus Christ Superstar featuring Tony nominee Josh Young; Leap of Faith featuring Raul Esparza; Newsies, featuring Tony nominated actor Jeremy Jordan; Nice Work If You Can Get It featuring Matthew Broderick and Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara; and Once featuring Tony nominees Steve Kazee, Cristin Milioti and Elizabeth A. Davis. The evening will also include performances by Tony nominated Plays, such as: End of the Rainbow with Tony nominated actress Tracie Bennett; One Man, Two Guvnors with Tony nominated actor James Corden and Peter and the Starcatcher featuring Tony nominees Christian Borle and Celia Keenan-Bolger. The show will also feature a performance with Corbin Bleu and the cast of Godspell and Ghost The Musical featuring Bryce Pinkham, Caissie Levy and Richard Fleeshman.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Ghost The Musical will be closing at the Piccadilly Theatre to make way for Viva Forever, the Spice Girls musical.

The Civilians (Steven Cosson, Artistic Director), the award-winning New York-based theater company known for projects investigating real life topics, presents Let Me Ascertain You: Bogotá.

Cover art has been released for Scott Alan's newest CD, which was recorded live in April at Birdland. The two-disc recording, which is simply titled 'Live,' will be released physically and digitally June 26 via iTunes, CDbaby, Amazon, Dress Circle and everywhere digital music is available.

In a recent chat with BWW, Fleeshman spoke about his Broadway debut experience and how he literally makes magic happen every night on stage.

Yesterday, May 8, the cast of Broadway's GHOST visited New York Citiy's 14th St. Apple Store for a performance and discussion. The event featured cast members Richard Fleeshman (Sam Wheat), Caissie Levy (Molly Jensen) and Da'Vine Joy Randolph (Oda Mae Brown), and a live performance of songs from the original score composed by multiple Grammy Award winners Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard. The West End production of GHOST THE MUSICAL is now booking until 20th April 2013 and has been seen by over 430,000 people in the UK. The 'Ditto' Cupcake is a classic vanilla or chocolate cupcake with pale blue vanilla bean meringue icing and is topped with a light and airy miniature meringue. Earlier this morning, stage and screen stars Kristin Chenoweth & Jim Parsons announced this year's Tony nominees from the New York Public Library. In a season as rich as this past theatrical season though, there are only so many spots for nominees and some very talented shows and performers were not nominated. Below are the eligible performers and shows who were not nominatined in the major categories.
