Tony Award-winner Julie White (THE LITTLE DOG LAUGHED) is set to host the 2012 Page 73 Spring Benefit on Friday, May 11 at 7:00pm at City Winery (155 Varick Street) in Manhattan, it has been announced by Page 73's Executive Directors Liz Jones and Asher Richelli.

THE LYONS, which debuted last fall at the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning Vineyard Theatre, officially opened last night, April 23, at the Cort Theatre. Previews began on April 5. 'Submissions Only' is in full production for Episode 8 of its second season, and BroadwayWorld was invited inside the shoot with special guest star Jesse Tyler Ferguson! Details of the episode are under wraps, but it promises to deliver special surprises featuring additional returning guest stars Beth Leavel as Penny's mother, Val, and Rick Elice as her step father, Don Martin, with more to be announced soon!

Tony Award-Winner Dick Latessa, Honorary Board Chair, brings together Broadway stars to help raise funds for Creative Alternatives of New York (CANY) which uses drama therapy to help New York's most vulnerable children and adults. This year's 2012 Annual Gala, which highlights the CANY mission with the theme of "Creativity+ Community+ Change = Rebuilding Lives," is to be held at the Edison Hotel Ballroom (240 West 47th Street) on April 30, 2012. The 2012 Honorees are Broadway veteran, film and TV star Anita Gillette and CANY Chair Emerita, Ellen Kealy.
