Kimberly Stern and Randy Harrison Return to SILENCE! THE MUSICAL Tonight, 7/18

Kimberly Stern is returning to the cast of Off-Broadway's SILENCE! The Musical tonight, July 18th in the role of Buffalo Bill's plus-sized victim, Catherine Martin. Tomorrow also marks the first performance of SILENCE! The Musical at its new home, the brand new Elektra Theatre in Times Square. The Elektra Theatre has been specially constructed to be the new home of SILENCE! The Musical, located at 673 Eighth Avenue (at 42nd St).

SILENCE! THE MUSICAL Ends Run at PS122 Tonight; Moves to Elektra Theatre, 7/18

SILENCE! The Musical is winding up its run at PS122 (150 First Ave. at Ninth St.) tonight, July 15, at the 7 PM performance before moving to the brand new Elektra Theatre in the heart of Times Square, where performances are set to resume this Wednesday, July 18th. The Elektra Theatre has been specially constructed to be the new home of SILENCE! The Musical, located at 673 Eighth Avenue (at 42nd St.).

Randy Harrison to Join SILENCE!, 7/18

Beginning next Wednesday, July 18th, Randy Harrison will assume the role of Dr. Hannibal Lecter's nemesis, Dr. Chilton, in Off-Broadway's smash hit SILENCE! The Musical. July 18th also marks the first performance of SILENCE! The Musical at the brand new Elektra Theatre in Times Square, located at 673 Eighth Avenue (at 42nd St.)

The Producers of Off-Broadway's sellout sensation, SILENCE! The Musical, today announced that the hit musical is set to move to the brand new Elektra Theatre in the heart of Times Square, with performances beginning next Wednesday, July 18th. The Elektra Theatre has been specially constructed to be the new home of SILENCE! The Musical. Located at 673 Eighth Avenue (at 42nd St.), the gorgeous new Elektra Theatre features plush stadium seats and the best sight lines of any theatre in New York City.

SILENCE! The Musical celebrates its one-year anniversary today, July 9th at PS122. Winner of the 2012 Off Broadway Alliance Award for Best Musical, SILENCE! The Musical is the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs, with book by Hunter Bell, music & lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, and direction & choreography by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli.

FOOD NETWORK STAR Finale and More Highlight July 2012 Programming

Food Network brings the heat this summer with the season finale of Food Network Star, a five-episode Chopped stunt and all viewers crave for summer food and fun. It's a back-to-back primetime event on Sunday, July 22nd with the much-anticipated season finale of Food Network Star at 9pm and the premiere of Chopped: Grill Masters at 10pm. The remaining Food Network Star finalists take a look back on their journey to the finale, and one contestant's dream comes true as the judges reveal who will be the next Food Network Star on Sunday, July 22nd at 9pm. Following the dramatic finale, Food Network launches a five-episode Chopped stunt as 16 competitors head to the Wild West to compete in Chopped: Grill Masters for a $50,000 grand prize beginning Sunday, July 22nd at 10pm. Melissa d'Arabian boosts the daytime lineup with a new season of Ten Dollar Dinners with Melissa d'Arabian beginning Sunday, July 15th at 10am, and Bobby Flay comes to the rescue of restaurants across the country in 3 Days to Open with Bobby Flay Friday, July 20th at 10pm when he helps save food businesses from failing before opening night. Food Network also dishes out premiere episodes of primetime hits including Chopped, Cupcake Wars, Iron Chef America and Restaurant: Impossible. New York Theatre Barn to Launch 6th Annual NYTB Concert Series, 7/9

New York Theatre Barn (Joe Barros, Artistic Director; Jason Najjoum, Producing Director; Barry Levine, Managing Director) will launch the 6th consecutive year of its acclaimed monthly platform for emerging musical theater writers, NYTB in the D-Lounge, on July 9, 2012 at the D-Lounge of the Daryl Roth Theatre. Featured writing teams will be Charlie Sohne and Tim Rosser, and Adam Spiegel and Dan Wolpow, all alumni of the Tony Award-winning BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. Featured writers for later months in the 6th season will be announced at a later date.

SILENCE! THE MUSICAL Celebrates Gay Pride with Special Matinee Today, 6/23

SILENCE! The Musical is celebrating Gay Pride weekend with a special added matinee performance today, June 23 at 3 PM at PS122. The cast of the smash hit show is scheduled to appear in Sunday's Pride March, which begins at noon at 36th St. & Fifth Ave. and ends at Christopher & Greenwich Streets. The cast will be bringing along fun surprise goodies to hand out to all their fans in the crowd.

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced their full slate of partner events and readings for their ninth annual festival. This year's Festival will begin July 9th and continue through July 29th.

Ben Schwartz, Linus Roache & Visit SILENCE, 5/31

Ben Schwartz ('House of Lies,' 'Parks and Recreation") Linus Roache (Batman Begins, Priest), Johanna Day (Tony nominee for Proof) and Pete Simpson (Blue Man Group) all descended on SILENCE! The Musical on May 31st to catch leading man David Garrison's last performance prior to his vacation. Tony Award winner Shuler Hensley is currently filling in as Dr. Hannibal Lecter through June 24th.
