Lantern Theater Company Presents THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS 5/19-6/6

Lantern Theater Company caps the 2009/10 Season with a limited three-week engagement of Anthony Lawton's adaptation of C.S. Lewis' The Screwtape Letters. Opening night is scheduled for Wednesday, May 19 at 7pm and the closing performance is Sunday, June 6.

Playmakers of Baton Rouge will close its successful and popular production of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe April 18th at Manship Theatre at the Shaw Center for the Arts. The production stars Cristin Thomas and JP Delahoussaye. Both actors are from the 2005 production and are reviving their roles for the Baton Rouge stage.

As Taproot Theatre Company celebrates the successful opening of Brooklyn Boy in its Greenwood playhouse, it looks back at a year of successes, trials and records in 2009. Palm Beach Dramaworks Announces Eleventh Anniversary Season

West Palm Beach's only resident professional theatre, Palm Beach Dramaworks will kick off its 11th Anniversary season with George Bernard Shaw's play 'Candida' on Wednesday, October 6th (8PM) at their intimate downtown theatre (322 Banyan Boulevard). The season will continue with a distinguished roster of plays including the southeast premiere of 'Freud's Last Session' by Mark St. Germain, 'Dinner With Friends' by Donald Margulies and 'The Beauty Queen of Leenane' by Martin McDonagh.

SHAKUNTALA AND THE RING OF RECOGNITION Closes 2/28 at La MaMa E.T.C.

La MaMa E.T.C. in association with The Magis Theatre Company will present Shakuntala and the Ring of Recognition, Kalidasa's 5th century classic, for a limited engagement from February 11-28, 2010, at The Ellen Stewart Theatre (The Annex) at La MaMa, 74A East 4th Street.
