Provision Theater Company, a multi-Jeff nominated Equity theater company, will round out their 2009-10 season with the World Premiere of THE HIDING PLACE. Based on the bestselling autobiography by Corrie ten Boon, THE HIDING PLACE is the true story of a family that fought the Nazi madness with the only weapon they had: love. With the WWII Nazi invasion of Holland, the ten Boom family joins the underground resistance to help save Jewish families, but when they are arrested and imprisoned in concentration camps themselves, they're left with nothing to cling to but their faith.

THE HIDING PLACE previews April 7, opens April 10 at 8 p.m. and runs through May 23. Opening in conjunction with the beginning of National Holocaust Remembrance Day, Provision Theater Company will also be partnering with the Illinois Holocaust Museum to provide free tickets to survivors of The Holocaust.

THE HIDING PLACE is adapted and directed by Tim Gregory, Artistic Director for Provision Theater. The cast includes Lia Mortensen, Cynthia Judge, Dennis Kelly, Don Tieri, Suzy Brack, Jack Mulopulos, Katherine Jordan, Ryan Martin, Brett Schneider, David Prentiss, Andy Luther, Franette Liebow, Charlie Jensen, Luke Renn, Jack McCabe, Mike Rogalski, Danon Dastugue, Keta Roth, Steve Scholz, Joanie Rueschhoff, Jane deLaubenfels, Dane Halvorson, Amanda Grace, Steve Peebles, Matt Holzfeind, Maura Kidwell, Joshua Magers, Amy Malouf, Mimi Sagadin and CameRon Johnson.

Original music is by Alaric ‘Rokko' Jans, a six time Jeff Award winner and one of Chicago's most noted composers for theater and film. Joining Director Tim Gregory will be Assistant Directors Gerald Bailey and Christine Conley.
