Cortland Repertory Theatre presents their first mainstage production at 'CRT Downtown', the newly renovated arts center in downtown Cortland. Chosen for this inaugural production is a revival of one of the most successful shows ever staged at CRT, 'Always...Patsy Cline'. Written byTed Swindley, this heart-warming, family-friendly musical features some of Patsy Cline's greatest hits including 'Crazy', 'Walkin' After Midnight', 'I Fall to Pieces' and many more. Back by popular demand, John Mueller's 50's Dance Party is the official live and authentic re-creation of the final tour before 'the music died'. The tour that brings Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper back to life makes a stop at the State Theatre.

In her show entitled, FROM THE BRILL BUILDING TO THE METROPOLITAN ROOM: SANDRA PILLER SINGS RUTH ROBERTS, the audience will hear songs recorded by such artists as Petula Clark, Dean Martin, Buddy Holly, Jimmy Dean, Lawrence Welk, Freda Payne, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, and many more.

Charles Esten and Clare Bowen, stars of ABC's Nashville, perform songs from the hit television series and other country favorites at Mayo Performing Arts Center tonight, October 17 at 8 pm.

Snider will be joined by singer/songwriter recording sensation, Taylor Dayne, along with eleven other acclaimed Toronto "triple threat" actors-musicians-singers who will perform in the highly anticipated Christmas musical on stage at the Winter Garden Theatre (189 Yonge Street) from Nov. 17, 2015 to Jan. 3, 2016.

Tonight, October 9, noted orchestrator and conductor Fred Barton will bring the music of Broadway and the American Songbook to the Schimmel Center at Pace University, in American Showstoppers: An Evening of Johnny Mercer. In his seventh concert at Pace, Fred Barton now brings the power of Mercer's music and lyrics front and center, with a 14-piece orchestra and a cast of 16 Broadway singers and dancers, with direction and choreography by Scott Thompson. The cast is headlined by Damon Kirsch, Tony nominee Lee Roy Reams, two time Tony nominee Vivian Reed, Nick Spangler, Tony Nominee Lauren Worsham, and Tony Award winner Karen Ziemba. The cast also features Jesse Luttrell, Sean McGibbon and Molly Pope.

GABRIELLE STRAVELLI - the celebrated pop/jazz vocalist and songwriter called an "outstanding singer" by The Wall Street Journal and "hotter than the equator" by The Village Voice - has released the new single that is currently available on iTunes here, a passionate reworking of the Cole Porter classic "Dream Dancing." The track, a selection from her upcoming album If Only Love, has an arrangement by Pat O'Leary and features Art Hirahara on piano, Pat O'Leary on bass and Eric Halvorson on drums. "Dream Dancing" is produced by David Cook (Taylor Swift, Jennifer Hudson, Marianne Faithfull) with cover photography by Shervin Lainez (St. Vincent, Cat Power, Ellie Goulding).

Marking playwright Tarell Alvin McCraney's Kansas City debut, The Brothers Size is a lyrical tale of brotherly love, pulsing with the rhythms of the Louisiana bayou. When younger brother Oshoosi Size struggles to restart his life after leaving prison, he reaches out for help from his older brother Ogun. This modern tale explores West African Yoruba myth in a striking production that engages the audience as witness and judge. This drama contains strong language and mature subject matter as well as flights of poetry, music and dance in an exploration of freedom and the need to belong.
