Juan Francisco Villa's DON CHIPOTLE Makes World Premiere at the Storefront Theater Tonight

terraNOVA Collective and The Playground Theater, in association with the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, are pleased to announce the world premiere of DON CHIPOTLE by Juan Francisco Villa (Empanada for a Dream), directed by Jo Cattell. A new Latino superhero is born in this epic coming-of-age adventure, told through theatre, puppetry, animation, music and a children's choir. DON CHIPOTLE will play tonight, August 25 - September 27, 2015 at the Storefront Theater, 66 E. Randolph St. in Chicago.

The best seats for New York and London's stage productions may just be at The Ridgefield Playhouse when stunning shows are broadcast in HD. From London's National Theatre on Sunday, February 15, at 3:30 p.m. comes family entertainment -- Treasure Island, which is suitable for 10+ years. From the Met on Sunday, February 22, at 12 p.m., Tchaikovsky's Iolanta and Bartok's Bluebeard's Castle will enchant. Skylight starring Carey Mulligan and Stephen Daldry, will be screened on Wednesday, February 25, at 6 p.m. Golden Globe winner and Academy Award nominee James Franco and Tony Award nominee Chris O'Dowd star in the hit Broadway production Of Mice And Men, Sunday, March 8, at 12 noon, filmed on stage by National Theatre Live.

Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting Launches 10th Anniversary Competition; Submissions Accepted

The 2015 Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting opens its 10th anniversary competition today. Writers of all levels of experience are invited to enter plays, which must be original, unperformed and unproduced. The winner will receive a prize of £16,000 and a full production of their play at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester. The competition is a unique partnership between the Royal Exchange Theatre and property company Bruntwood.
