Halloween is just around the corner, and who better to celebrate with than the denizens of Dr. Frank N. Furter's home-sweet-castle in Richard O'Brien's beloved cult classic, The Rocky Horror Show. And Entr'Acte Theatrix is inviting audiences to come do the Time Warp again when they present 'Rocky' at The PGA Arts Center October 19th through October 31st.

Stage Door Theatre presents the musical Saturday Night Fever featuring music and lyrics by the Bee Gees, and a book by Nan Knighton (in collaboration with Arlene Phillips, Paul Nicholas, and Robert Stigwood). The musical is based on both Nik Cohn's 1975 New York Magazine article 'Tribal Rites of the New Saturday Night', and the block-buster film that rocketed John Travolta to fame it inspired in 1977, Saturday Night Fever.

Saturday Night Fever caused a sensation when it debuted in movie theatres in 1977.   The film's earthy dialogue, gritty story, and throbbing disco music permeated American pop culture for years. 

Marquee Theatre Company and Producer Miles McKee proudly present the musical Thoroughly Modern Millie at the West Boca Performing Arts Theater. Based on the 1956 British musical Chrysanthemum, the successful film version of Thoroughly Modern Millie in 1967, starring Julie Andrews, Mary Tyler Moore, Carol Channing and Beatrice Lilly, sparked a bit of a cult following that paved the way for a Tony Award winning stage version in 2002.

As the finale to its acclaimed inaugural season at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, Slow Burn Theatre Company presents the hilarious, heartfelt and homicidal Heathers: The Musical in its South Florida premiere from Thursday, June 9 - Sunday, June 26.

Can you hear the people sing? The Carbonell Awards judges did, honoring LES MISERABLES at Maltz Jupiter Theatre with 10 Carbonell nominations, the most of any musical production. Daniel's Husband at Island City Stage, a world premiere about the importance of marriage equality, garnered six nominations, the most of any play.

 Acclaimed for its 'magic', 'simplicity', and 'compassion', Carnival blends music, comedy, and pathos into what has been referred to as 'America's Magical Musical'.  Carnival will open at Margate's Stage Door Theatre on January 22nd and run through February 28th.
