Maria-Cristina Fusté, Executive Artistic Director of Boundless Theatre Company and Melody Brooks, Artistic Director of New Perspectives Theatre Company are using the combined strengths of their two companies--NPTC has an award-winning history of developing new plays by women and BTC has a team of top-notch designers working on Broadway, Off-Broadway and in Regional theatres--to produce How to Melt ICE, a new play by Amalia Oliva Rojas, running Wednesday, February 1 to Saturday, February 11, 2023. The play is directed by Elena Araoz.
Tonight, at 7 p.m. ET, the No Exit Theatre Collective (NETC) will present Molière's 'The Misanthrope' directed by Zeynep Akca as part of their live-streamed Fortnightly Reading Series. All shows in NETC's Fortnightly Reading Series are abridged to run under 90 minutes, with a Q&A with the artists to follow.
Rising director-playwright team of Zeynep Akca and Reuven Glezer present their Off-Broadway debut, THE ARGENTINIAN PROSTITUTE PLAY, written by Glezer and directed by Akca, at the Broadway Bound Theatre Festival this August. Performances will take place at Theatre Row for an exclusive three-day run on August 20th, 21st, and 24th at 8PM, 5PM, and 2PM, respectively.
