Signature Theatre Welcomes Joe Calarco as New Resident Director/Director of New Works

Virginia's Signature Theatre has appointed Joe Calarco to the new position of Resident Director/Director of New Works. In this position, Calarco will continue to strengthen Signature's commitment to new work by shepherding the development of new musicals and plays and actively seeking the work of original and diverse voices. Calarco will also direct 1-2 shows per season and will continue his work with Signature in The Schools, Signature's flagship education program.

Wells Fargo Center for the Arts announced 24 new shows for 2014-2015 featuring world-class performances in music, dance, comedy, speakers and family entertainment. For 33 years, Wells Fargo Center for the Arts has presented a popular and diverse range of outstanding performances for fans of all ages and diverse interests. Wells Fargo Center for the Arts Announces two New Performances

Today, Wells Fargo Center for the Arts announced two new performances to be presented at the Ruth Finley Person Theater (50 Mark West Springs Rd., Santa Rosa, CA). On Thursday, July 17 at 8 p.m., twenty-time Grammy winner Pat Metheny ('Last Train Home') will appear with multiple Grammy-winning singer and pianist Bruce Hornsby ('The Way It Is') in Campfire Tour 2014. Returning to Santa Rosa on Saturday, December 20, for two performances at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. is the Moscow Ballet in the holiday favorite Great Russian Nutcracker. Tickets for Campfire Tour 2014 are $75, $60 and $45. Tickets for Great Russian Nutcracker range in price from $34 - $74; VIP and Platinum ticket packages are available for $108 and $181, respectively. Star of stage and screen, Tom Wopat will take the Stage at Rockwells for two performances on Friday, May 9th at 7:15 and 9:30 PM. Making a rare Westchester County appearance, the famed Broadway star, memorable Dukes of Hazzard actor and jazz and cabaret performer, has just released his eighth album, I've Got Your Number. With his warm baritone and far-ranging interpretive skills he offers new, intriguing musical twists to such Great American Songbook classics as 'The Good Life,' 'The Folks Who Live On The Hill,' 'Call Me,' 'Born To Be Blue' and 'I Won't Dance,' as well as contemporary songs from the likes of Paul Simon, Judy Collins, Bruce Springsteen, Bruce Hornsby and James Taylor.
