The Guthrie Theater, now in previews for the critically acclaimed play Time Stands Still by Donald Margulies, welcomed the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright to the final rehearsal and first preview last weekend, Friday and Saturday, April 6 and 7. Florida Studio Theatre opens Jericho by Jack Canfora, a National New Play Network (NNPN) Rolling World Premiere, tonight, Friday, April 6, 2012, in the Keating Theatre (1241 N. Palm Avenue). Part of the Sarasota Festival of New Plays, Jericho makes its final stop of it's "rolling" world premiere, after opening at Phoenix Theatre in Indianapolis and New Jersey Repertory Company early this season. Milwaukee Chamber Theatre (MCT) announces its 38th season, with the theme of "Rebels: Pushing Against the Boundaries." The 2012-2013 season will feature five productions performed at the Broadway Theatre Center.

The Public Theater has announced additional casting today for the 50th Anniversary season of free Shakespeare in the Park at the Delacorte. David Furr (Orlando) and Stephen Spinella (Jaques) join the previously announced MacIntyre Dixon (Adam), Renee Elise Goldsberry (Celia), Omar Metwally (Oliver), and Lily Rabe (Rosalind) in Shakespeare's comedy AS YOU LIKE IT, directed by Daniel Sullivan.

TIME STANDS STILL, 2010 Tony Award Nominee for Best Play, is set to play at the Unicorn Theatre this season.

Recording artist Tom Moran aka Daddy Rocker will present a special concert to benefit Autism Speaks on May 5th, 2012. Daddy Rocker & the Brooklyn South Band will headline the concert which will also feature performances by The Meyer Rossabi Band and Off The Record. The benefit will take place at the Tamaqua Marina, 84 Ebony Ct., Brooklyn, New York. Admission is a $20.00 donation, $10.00 for children under 12 years of age. Parade Productions, Boca Raton's newest theatre company, will follow up their wildly successful debut production of Donald Margulies Brooklyn Boy with a premiere reading of South Florida playwright Stuart Meltzer's comedy, Better Than Damn Good.
