On Tuesday, June 28 THE ADDAMS FAMILY welcomed stage and screen star Brooke Shields in the role of Morticia. Ms. Shields joined current Broadway cast members Roger Rees as Gomez, Brad Oscar as Fester, Rachel Potter as Wednesday, Jackie Hoffman as Grandma, Zachary James as Lurch, Adam Riegler as Pugsley, Heidi Blickenstaff as Alice Beineke, Adam Grupper as Mal Beineke and Jesse Swenson as Lucas Beineke. Inside Broadway's Executive Director Michael Presser is pleased to announce that stage, film, & TV star Brooke Shields, New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, and managing partner & co-founder of Stonehenge Partners, Ofer Yardeni, will all be honored at Inside Broadway's 2011 Broadway Beacon Awards, being held at 5:30pm on June 23rd, 2011 at the historic Players Club at Gramercy Park. FOX5 reporter Julie Chang will serve as emcee.

Last week, Double Emmy winner, Grammy nominated and NY Times Best Selling author Kathy Griffin announced two more performances of 'Kathy Griffin WANTS A TONY' on Broadway. Performance times added are Monday, March 14th at 8pm and Saturday, March 19th at 2pm. On Sunday, May 23, the Drama Desk Association hosted the 55th Annual Drama Desk Awards ceremony at the F.H. LaGuardia Concert Hall at Lincoln Center. Former Drama Desk Award winner Patti LuPone hosted the ceremony, which honored the best of Broadway and off in the 2009-2010 season. BroadwayWorld.com provided live coverage on the site throughout the ceremony and was also present in the audience to capture the best of the evening.
