Kathy Griffin, the comedienne who played Broadway in her limited run of KATHY GRIFFIN WANTS A TONY earlier this year, will return to New York City for the New York Comedy Festival.

On Tuesday, June 28 THE ADDAMS FAMILY welcomed stage and screen star Brooke Shields in the role of Morticia. Ms. Shields joined current Broadway cast members Roger Rees as Gomez, Brad Oscar as Fester, Rachel Potter as Wednesday, Jackie Hoffman as Grandma, Zachary James as Lurch, Adam Riegler as Pugsley, Heidi Blickenstaff as Alice Beineke, Adam Grupper as Mal Beineke and Jesse Swenson as Lucas Beineke. Inside Broadway's Executive Director Michael Presser is pleased to announce that stage, film, & TV star Brooke Shields, New York City Council Speaker Christine Quinn, and managing partner & co-founder of Stonehenge Partners, Ofer Yardeni, will all be honored at Inside Broadway's 2011 Broadway Beacon Awards, being held at 5:30pm on June 23rd, 2011 at the historic Players Club at Gramercy Park. Producers Michael Rubinoff and Daryl Roth announced today that celebrated Dora, Genie and Gemini award-winning Canadian actress Patricia Hamilton (Rachel Lynde in Anne of Green Gables films and 'Road to Avonlea' television series) joins the upcoming cast of Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's Love, Loss, and What I Wore at Toronto's Panasonic Theatre.

On Sunday, May 23, the Drama Desk Association hosted the 55th Annual Drama Desk Awards ceremony at the F.H. LaGuardia Concert Hall at Lincoln Center. Former Drama Desk Award winner Patti LuPone hosted the ceremony, which honored the best of Broadway and off in the 2009-2010 season.
