Mischer Neurosciences at the Hobby Center is thrilled to announce that individual tickets for WAITRESS go on sale to the pubic on Friday, September 28 at 10 am.  WAITRESS will play the Hobby Center for a limited one-week engagement January 29 - February 3, 2019.

Broadway in San Antonio is thrilled to announce WAITRESS, playing the Majestic Theatre as part of the North Park Lexus Broadway in San Antonio 2018-2019 season, for eight performances, January 8-13, 2019.   Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, October 5.

Broadway Across America's Telly Award-winning collaboration with "The Balancing Act," the award-winning morning show on the Lifetime Channel continues Season Five of the five-part series Broadway Balances America with Andrew Lloyd Webber's SCHOOL OF ROCK. Cameron Mackintosh's spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, is now on sale for the triumphant return Dallas engagement at the Music Hall at Fair Park. The Lion King is one of the epic Broadway shows that everyone should see at least once in their life. It's also one of the few stage productions based on a Disney movie that actually works. They never make the mistake of many movie-to-stage adaptations: sacrificing the heart of the story for the spectacle. It is a huge production. From Pride Rock to an elephant graveyard, the sets are so creative.

We had the honor to speak recently with one of the stars of the upcoming production of THE LION KING that is coming through Indianapolis shortly for Broadway Across America. Gerald Ramsey is portraying the iconic character of Mufasa and has done so for a few years now.

Hell in a Handbag Productions rings in the holidays with the world premiere of SnowGirls - The Musical, a parody of the classic cult film Showgirls. Featuring a book by Derek Van Barham, music by Artistic Director David Cerda* with Scott Lamberty and Jeff Thomson, direction by Jon Martinez and music direction by JD Caudill. SnowGirls will play November 15 - December 30, 2018 at Mary's Attic, 5400 N. Clark St. in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood. Casting will be announced shortly. Now entering its 56th season, the New York Youth Symphony (NYYS) is launching a Musical Theater Composition (MTC) program, to be led by newly-appointed director Anna K. Jacobs. In a partnership with the Harlem School of the Arts, this new program aims to diversify the world of musical theater by creating opportunities for young composers to have their compositions workshopped and performed by both peers and professionals.

Today Keen announced the cast for the fourth musical, the first NY revival of Adam Gwon's acclaimed Ordinary Days: Whitney Bashor (The Bridges of Madison County), Marc delaCruz (If/Then), Sarah Lynn Marion (2013 Jimmy awards winner), and Kyle Sherman (Pete the Cat) will star.
