The 2014-2015 season of Broadway in San Antonio features six show-stopping productions, two market debuts and three season options.

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announces cast members from the national Broadway tour of MAMMA MIA! will present a benefit cabaret performance for The Trevor Project, on Saturday, February 15, 2014, at 11:00 p.m., at the Cabaret at Theater Square, 655 Penn Avenue, downtown Pittsburgh's Cultural District.

The Theater League and Broadway Across America this week announced the line-up for the 2014-2015 Kansas City Broadway Series. Performed at the Music Hall and described by Entertainment Weekly as "the funniest musical of all time," The Book of Mormon anchors the season.

Fresh off of Broadway, the visually spectacular GHOST: THE MUSICAL is making an appearance in Houston as part of Gexa Energy's Broadway at the Hobby Center series. The musical follows the plot of the Oscar-winning film Ghost and features a score written by Dave Stewart (one half of the 80s pop duo The Eurythmics) and Glen Ballard (co-writer with Alanis Morissette on the multi-platinum album Jagged Little Pill, among many other notable credits and collaborations). Recently, Brandon Curry, who plays the Subway Ghost, took some time out his busy tour schedule to talk to me about his career, GHOST: THE MUSICAL, and why Houston should be gearing up to see this production.

ONCE, winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical and winner of the 2013 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will play the Benedum Center for a limited engagement from Tuesday, March 11 through Sunday, March 16, 2014. Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus' MAMMA MIA!, the smash hit musical based on the songs of ABBA, returns to Heinz Hall in February 2014. For the first DG Conservatory of the new year, the Dramatists Guild is thrilled to team up with the writers who created Behind the Music-al, Kyle Ewalt and Michael Ian Walker, on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Dramatists Guild's New York office, in the Frederick Loewe Room, 1501 Broadway (between 43rd and 44th Streets), Suite 710. The Weston Playhouse Theatre Company announces Sarah Hammond and Adam Gwon's String as the winner of its eighth annual New Musical Award. Book writer Hammond and composer/lyricist Gwon describe String as 'a musical fable about the three Fates and a fall.' To rehearse, perform and record selections from the new work, Weston has assembled a cast that features Heidi Blickenstaff in the leading role. Blickenstaff (Broadway's The Addams Family, (title of show)) played the role of Diana in Weston's acclaimed 2013 revival of Next To Normal. The cast of String will perform a free public concert at the Weston Playhouse on Saturday March 1 at 8pm.

Broadway Records will release the original Broadway cast recording of the new musical BIG FISH digitally today, February 7, 2014 and everywhere music is sold on Tuesday, February 11, 2014.
