The spectacular new production of Cameron Mackintosh and Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA will make its Twin Cities' premiere tonight, December 13, 2013 through January 5, 2014 at Hennepin Theatre Trust's Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis. With newly re-invented staging and stunning scenic design, this new version of PHANTOM has been an enormous success since its U.K. unveiling in March 2012.

The national tour of the Broadway musical MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, inspired by the electrifying true story, will perform at Jacksonville's Times-Union Center's Moran Theater from April 22-27, 2014 for 8 performances only! Broadway's new musical BIG FISH will play its final performance on Sunday, December 29, 2013. The supernatural power of love is taking the Fox Cities by storm as the new Broadway and West End musical Ghost The Musical, adapted from the Academy Award-winning film, opens at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center Tuesday, March 18, 2014 through Sunday, March 23, 2014. Tickets go on sale Friday, Dec. 13.

The producers of the Tony Award winning PIPPIN just announced that Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominee Annie Potts ("Designing Women," God of Carnage) will assume the role of "Berthe" in the production beginning Tuesday, January 21, 2014. Four-time Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh will play her final performance in the role on Sunday, January 19th. PIPPIN is now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street).

Producers Letty Aronson and Julian Schlossberg just announced that three time Tony Award® nominee Marin Mazzie (Passion; Ragtime; Kiss Me, Kate) will play the role of 'Helen Sinclair' in the world premiere production of the brand new musical comedy BULLETS OVER BROADWAY.

The Broadway Across America national tour rolled into Salt Lake City for a three-performance run, and the cast created a highly entertaining, stirring production of this musical snapshot of a teenage wasteland.

The Pearl Theatre Company continues its 30th anniversary season-the second season in its new home on West 42nd Street-with the world premiere of And Away We Go by four-time Tony Award-winner Terrence McNally. In his first play written for an ensemble of actors, McNally celebrates the classics, acting companies and The Pearl itself.

The National Theatre of Great Britain's epic WAR HORSE, winner of five 2011 Tony Awards including Best Play, will make its premiere in Orlando at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre for a limited one-week engagement, February 25 through March 2. After beginning his career in 1993, longtime theatrical press agent MICHAEL HARTMAN, founder and CEO of one of the largest and most successful theatrical publicity firms in New York, will say goodbye to Broadway and close THE HARTMAN GROUP on Sunday, January 5, 2014, remaining fully operational until then.

The producers of the Tony Award winning PIPPIN have announced that the show has officially recouped its $8.5 million capitalization costs as of the Sunday, December 1, 2013 performance. The show also broke the Music Box Theatre house record last week for the highest grossing single performance on the evening of Friday, November 29th with $151,219. The record was then broken again on the evening of Saturday, November 30th with $151,977 gross sales. Roger O. Hirson and Stephen Schwartz's Tony Award winning musical comedy PIPPIN is directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus and features choreography by Tony Award nominee Chet Walker in the style of Bob Fosse and circus creation by Gypsy Snider of the Montreal-based circus company Les 7 doigts de la main (also known as 7 Fingers). The production is now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street).
