The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to THE BOOTLEG THEATER on Saturday, October 25 at 7:30 PM. After extended runs at 54 Below and Joe's Pub in New York, the show recently made its Los Angeles debut and is back for another performances. The Meeting* has been called 'delicious and delightfully droll' by The New York Post, and 'hilarious and sardonic' by The Village Voice. A story for Slate.com called the evening 'so deliciously icy that it left me shivering with fear and delight.' The recent opening of the Fall season in New York sold out after a New York Times 'Arts & Leisure' feature. Special guests for the Los Angeles show will be announced soon.

The Public Theater presents Bridget Everett's critically acclaimed ROCK BOTTOM at Joe's Pub. The show closes tonight, October 16, 2014. Created by Bridget Everett, Marc Shaiman, Scott Wittman, Adam 'Ad-Rock' Horovitz, and Matt Ray, and directed by Scott Wittman, this shockingly funny and moving new show began performances on September 9 and was originally slated to close on October 11. ROCK BOTTOM was originally commissioned as part of the Joe's Pub 2013 New York Voices series.

The October show will include a tribute to the Broadway and Hollywood star Julie Andrews, with special guests Katie Thompson, Gabrielle Stravelli, Kim Smith, Danielle Grabianowski, Rob Maitner, Josh Sharp and Aaron Jackson. Tracy Stark serves as the show's Music Director.

Joe's Pub at The Public presents Largo, a night of song from the legendary concept album, on Thursday, October 30 at 7:00PM. Largo was produced and written in 1998 by Rick Chertoff and Rob Hyman, with co-writing by David Forman and Eric Bazilian. Over the last year, Reverend Billy & The Stop Shopping Choir have applied their signature musical activism to counteracting big corporations' role in climate disruption.
