The legendary Barbra Streisand will be honored by the Recording Academy as the MusiCares Person of the Year. She will be acknowledged for her achievements at a February 11 dinner and concert, which is to feature performances by Kristin Chenoweth, Tony Bennett, Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Barry Manilow, Diana Krall, and more. Also set for appearances are GLEE cast members Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison and Darren Criss.

Elton John and Leon Russell's acclaimed new CD The Union debuts at #3 on Billboard's Top 200 Album Chart, ahead of new releases from Rod Stewart, Shakira, Bob Dylan and the new Glee Soundtrack. The Union also made significant debuts on additional Billboard Charts including #2 Rock Album, #3 Internet Album and #5 Digital Album respectively. Released on Decca on October 19th, the album was launched with the duo making a slew of high-profile appearances including multiple mornings on Good Morning America, a performance on The View, a live concert broadcast on Fuse from New York City's Beacon Theatre and a touching profile on NPR's Morning Edition.
