Syfy and Syfy Wire are New York Comic Con's Official Streaming Partner

SYFY and SYFY WIRE will once again be at the epicenter of this year's New York Comic Con 2018 - this time, as the convention's official streaming partner. As part of its ongoing partnership with ReedPOP, the world's leading producer of pop culture events, SYFY WIRE will broadcast live from the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, including the NYCC Live Stage presented by SYFY WIRE, featuring celebrity interviews, in-depth panels, fan announcements and expert analysis from the convention floor. SYFY WIRE will also bring back last year's popular fan lounge, and SYFY will feature panels and screenings for three of the most anticipated properties in the genre: NIGHTFLYERS, DEADLY CLASS and HAPPY!

The radically inventive Catalonian theater collective Fura dels Baus transforms Haydn's Enlightenment-era oratorio into an immersive theatrical experience in THE CREATION at Lincoln Center. Including visual pyrotechnics, three dozen large helium balloons, a 20-foot-tall crane, and a 250-gallon water tank, the work touches upon subjects from philosophy to genetics. Laurence Equilbey conducts Insula Orchestra, a period-instrument ensemble, along with three daring soloists and the accentus choir, who enact this musically and visually stunning portrayal of the emergence of life coupled with the continued presence of original sin. The concert is sung in German with English supertitles

Lookingglass To Extend 20,000 LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA

Lookingglass Theatre Company announces an extension of 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas adapted by David Kersnar and Althos Low, from the books by Jules Verne, directed by Ensemble Member David Kersnar. Due to high ticket demand, additional dates, August 22 - 26, 2018, have been added. 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas plays at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson.

Lookingglass Theatre Company concludes its 30th Anniversary season with the world premiere of 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas adapted by David Kersnar and Althos Low, from the books by Jules Verne, directed by Ensemble Member David Kersnar. 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas runs May 23 - August 19, 2018 at Lookingglass Theatre Company, located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson. The Press Opening is Saturday, June 2, 2018 at 7:30 p.m.

New Comedy/Horror Film from Creator of CRANK Opens at RST

Mom and Dad is not about Ozzie & Harriet or Carol and Mike Brady from The Brady Bunch. Not even close. It's more like The Brady Bunch Meets The Night of The Living Dead. The co-creator of the hugely successful Crank action movie series (starring Jason Statham), Brian Taylor, has written and directed Mom and Dad. Taylor has also directed Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance and Gamer. The film opens this Friday, January 19 and plays through Sunday (1/21) at the River Street Theatre in Jaffrey.

Syfy Presents HAPPY! at San Diego Comic-Con
