d4rkly your retrorockets fl4re, a multi-media sci-fi theatrical adventure, makes its world premiere this summer at the Flamboyan Theater (107 Suffolk Street, in the Clemente Center) as part of the Planet Connections Theatre Festivity.

The award winning New Stage Theatre Company will open its new permanent home, The New Stage Performance Space, located at 36 West 106th Street, Manhattan, from March 31 to April 30 with the debut production of 'Rules,' a multimedia theatre piece conceived and directed by Ildiko Nemeth.  The piece is based on 'The Rules' by Charles L. Mee, a play from his (re)making project.

Teich Lumen, spaceship pilot, is called upon to return a "back-up copy" of Earth to the Cygnus Star System in Steven Mark Tenney's play CYGNUS ISA SUMMER CON5T3LL4TION. En route he encounters a telepathic prodigy, the darkly shrouded Inner System Authority, a band of Cygnian artists covertly shooting an art film on Earth, two college students, and his muse.

Theater for the New City, in association with The New Stage Theatre Company, is presenting the world premiere of 'Night (Thyestes 2.0)' by Charles L. Mee, directed and designed by Ildiko Nemeth.

On Saturday night, April 12th, the Los Angeles Ballet Gala 2014 celebrated honoring Paula Abdul, Jane Seymour, and Lori Milken with cocktails, dinner, and dancing, including a 'Stars & Stripes' performance by the Los Angeles Ballet dancers. Storm Theatre Company (Artistic Director Peter Dobbins), presents the first production of their 2013-2014 season, The Play's The Thing by Ferenc Molnar, adapted by P.G. The play presents five characters, all of whom are in a particular state of loneliness, who go through brief dramatic encounters with each other and a visitor/messenger who has been sent by the gods to investigate their peculiar predicament. It has a gentle touch, a distilled style and a Beckettian effect. Theater for the New City will present the work tonight, April 10 to 28, directed by Guenevere Donohue.
