Kate Burton to Star in Irish Rep's Immersive THE DEAD, 1904

Irish Repertory Theatre and Dot Dot Productions, in association with The American Irish Historical Society, have announced the world premiere of THE DEAD, 1904 - an immersive adaptation of James Joyce's classic story, "The Dead," adapted by the Pulitzer Prize winning Irish poet Paul Muldoon (Moy Sand and Gravel) and novelist Jean Hanff Korelitz (Admission, You Should Have Known).

Judy Davis will direct Faith Healer in her Belvoir directorial debut. Previously she has directed Victory, The School for Scandal and Barrymore for Sydney Theatre Company. First performed in 1979, Faith Healer is a masterpiece by one of the greatest playwrights of the last 50 years, Brian Friel. The acclaimed Irish playwright's works have won the Tony, the Olivier and the Critic's Circle Awards for Best Play.

Actors Co-op (Ovation Award-Winner 2014 Best Intimate Theatre Musical for 110 in the Shade) presents the fourth and final show in its 2015-2016 season (and 24th year of producing theatrical excellence in Los Angeles!) with DANCING AT LUGHNASA, by Brian Friel, choreography by Julie Hall and directed by Heather Chesley.  DANCING AT LUGHNASA previewed on Wednesday, May 4 and Thursday, May 5 at 8pm and opened on Friday, May 6 at 8pm and will run through Sunday, June 12 at the Actors Co-op Crossley Theatre, 1760 N. Gower St. (on the campus of the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood) in Hollywood.
