B Street Theatre is thrilled to kick-off our 2016 - 2017 Family Series Season with Y York's adaptation of The Garden of Rikki Tikki Tavi. Based off of the popular short-story by Ruyard Kipling, Rikki Tikki Tavi leaps onto the B Street stage this fall.
Bruce Graham's play, Funnyman, wraps up the 2016 season at Circle Theatre. This will be Mr. Graham's seventh script produced at the theatre. Previous productions include Desperate Affection (2003); Moon Over the Brewery (2004); According to Goldman (2007); Dex and Julie Sittin' in a Tree (2008); Something Intangible (2010); and Stella and Lou (2014).

Block and Sebastian Arcelus in Midtown Direct Rep's staged reading of THE IMPOSSIBILITY OF NOW, a new play written by Y York and directed by Will Pomerantz. On Monday, August 4 at 8PM Musical Theatre Factory will be presenting its second round of 4x15, a developmental program in which four new musicals are each given five hours of rehearsal time to stage fifteen-minute excerpts that share one evening of presentations. The event is open to the public and also features panel of industry professionals who will give feedback to the writers after each showing. The new musicals featured in 4x15 - ROUND TWO are ONIEDA (Book and Lyrics: Beth Blatt; Music by Lizzie Hagstedt), DROP DEAD GORGEOUS (Book and Lyrics: Laura Kleinbaum; Music, Willem Oosthuysen), THE CRAFT - The Musical (Book and Lyrics: Brandon Michael Lowden; Music and Lyrics, Kevin Michael Jones), and FIREFLIES (Book, Music, Lyrics: Dimitri Koltunov). The evening features a cast of over 40 Musical Theatre Factory performers and volunteer creatives.
