Bruce Graham's play, Funnyman, wraps up the 2016 season at Circle Theatre. This will be Mr. Graham's seventh script produced at the theatre. Previous productions include Desperate Affection (2003); Moon Over the Brewery (2004); According to Goldman (2007); Dex and Julie Sittin' in a Tree (2008); Something Intangible (2010); and Stella and Lou (2014).

The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center at The Graduate Center, CUNY is pleased to announce the full lineup of its thirteenth annual PRELUDE Festival. Dedicated to artists at the forefront of contemporary New York City theatre and performance, PRELUDE 2016 features an array of artists working in theatrical and interdisciplinary performance. The Farm Theater will present a special two-day presentation of Vickie Tanner's solo show, Running Into Me, directed by Padraic Lillis, on Tuesday, March 29 at 3pm and 7pm and Wednesday, March 30 at 7pm at The NuBox Theatre at the John DeSotelle Studio (300 West 43rd Street, 3rd Floor). BroadwayWorld has just learned that film, television, and theatre actor Geoffrey Arend (MADAM SECRETARY on CBS) will be joining previously announced Stephanie J. Block and Sebastian Arcelus in Midtown Direct Rep's staged reading of THE IMPOSSIBILITY OF NOW, a new play written by Y York and directed by Will Pomerantz. Broadway actress Marni Raab (The Phantom of the Opera) will read the stage directions.

Midtown Direct Rep (MDR), kicks off its 2015-16 season at the South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) with Theatre in the Loft, a series of staged readings of new plays and musicals. The Kennedy Center, in association with the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, the National New Play Network (NNPN)-the country's alliance of non-profit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays-and with Stanford University's National Center for New Plays, will host more than 50 playwrights, directors, and dramaturgs from July 25 to August 2, 2015 as part of the 10th annual weeklong MFA Playwrights' Workshop featuring new works by MFA students from Columbia University, Northwestern University, Fordham University, Yale School of Drama, the Juilliard School, New York University-Tisch School of the Arts, University of California-San Diego, and the Juilliard School.
