B Street Theatre is thrilled to kick-off our 2016 - 2017 Family Series Season with Y York's adaptation of The Garden of Rikki Tikki Tavi. Based off of the popular short-story by Ruyard Kipling, Rikki Tikki Tavi leaps onto the B Street stage this fall.

Bruce Graham's play, Funnyman, wraps up the 2016 season at Circle Theatre. This will be Mr. Graham's seventh script produced at the theatre. Previous productions include Desperate Affection (2003); Moon Over the Brewery (2004); According to Goldman (2007); Dex and Julie Sittin' in a Tree (2008); Something Intangible (2010); and Stella and Lou (2014).

BroadwayWorld has just learned that film, television, and theatre actor Geoffrey Arend (MADAM SECRETARY on CBS) will be joining previously announced Stephanie J. Block and Sebastian Arcelus in Midtown Direct Rep's staged reading of THE IMPOSSIBILITY OF NOW, a new play written by Y York and directed by Will Pomerantz.  Broadway actress Marni Raab (The Phantom of the Opera) will read the stage directions.

The Kennedy Center, in association with the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival, the National New Play Network (NNPN)-the country's alliance of non-profit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays-and with Stanford University's National Center for New Plays, will host more than 50 playwrights, directors, and dramaturgs from July 25 to August 2, 2015 as part of the 10th annual weeklong MFA Playwrights' Workshop featuring new works by MFA students from Columbia University, Northwestern University, Fordham University, Yale School of Drama, the Juilliard School, New York University-Tisch School of the Arts, University of California-San Diego, and the Juilliard School.
