It has been confirmed that former Destiny's Child songbird Michelle Williams is Chicago-bound. Williams will portray the wannabe star-turned-murderess Roxie Hart for a limited run from February 8 to March 28. Williams will be taking over the role from Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, who debuted in the revival on December 1.

Brent Barrett opened a 2-night run of 'Christmas Mornings' at the Broadway at Birdland concert series last night, with show-folk like David Zippel, Karen Ziemba and the legandary Julie Wilson cheering him on! Brent Barrett, currently of Broadway's Chicago, will play a two-night concert event at Birdland to celebrate the release of his album 'Christmas Mornings' on December 13th and 14th. The album is produced by Kritzerland Records and is available for purchase now through their website. Albums will ship in the first week of December.
