Harbor Stage Company Adds Three Performances of SISTER PLAY
The Harbor Stage Company, Cape Cod's artist-run professional theater by the sea, is very proud to announce an extension of their World Premiere Production of John Kolvenbach's Sister Play. Two weeks of sold-out houses prompted the ensemble to add three more performances to round out the conclusion of their 2014 season.
Kolvenbach, a longtime summer resident of Wellfleet, sets his poignant jewel of a play in a dilapidated Cape Cod cabin, where two sisters, haunted by the memory of their departed father, encounter hope and heartache in the visage of a mysterious stranger.
Written expressly for the Harbor ensemble, the company's four co-founders-- Jonathan Fielding, Stacy Fischer, Brenda Withers, and Artistic Director Robert Kropf-- appear in the production. Kolvenbach (Love Song, On an Average Day) directed the premiere.
Extended perfomances run Thursday, September 11th through Saturday, September 13th at 7:30pm. In keeping with the Harbor Stage Company's mission of presenting great plays at affordable prices, tickets to Sister Play are just $20. More information on tickets, donations, and individual ensemble members can be found at www.harborstage.org.
