Under the Streetlamp is coming back to the State Theatre in Easton for a live, one-night-only performance on Saturday, October 10.  Featuring four leading cast members of hit Broadway musicals including “JERSEY BOYS,” Under the Streetlamp is a concert celebration of classic hits of American Radio Songbook from the 1950s-1970s featuring tight harmonies and slick dance moves that take audiences back to an era of sharkskin suits, flashy cars and martini shakers. A flashback to a time when, on hot summer nights, people would gather under a streetlamp to sing their favorite rock and roll songs.

Michael Menendian, co-Artistic Director of Raven Theatre and co-author (with John Weagly) of the script, has announced Rachel Edwards Harvith will direct Raven's dramatization with music of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's only Sherlock Holmes mystery set around the holidays. The play, based on Conan Doyle's 'The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle', follows Holmes' investigation into the disappearance of a precious gem owned by a countess and its reappearance in the cooked holiday goose of an ordinary Londoner.

Theater Wit moves the company's smash hit Chicago premiere of BAD JEWS back to the city, after its virtually sold-out summer run at Skokie's North Shore Center for the Performing Arts. Starting tonight, August 28, Wit's production of playwright Joshua Harmon's smart, funny new play about young Jews grappling with faith, family and identity will reopen at the Royal George Theatre, 1641 N. Halsted St., in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood.

Steep Company Member Robin Witt is back in the director's chair for the final show of Steep's 14th season, the U.S. premiere of Alistair McDowall's Brilliant Adventures.
