Jobsite Theater, hot on the heels of their record-smashing season opener in Hedwig and The Angry Inch, continues their 20th Anniversary Season with a new comedy about two of America's most beloved dark literary figures just in time for Halloween! Joseph McDonough's Edgar & Emily is on stage Oct. 12 - Nov. 4 in the Shimberg Playhouse at the Straz Center where Jobsite is resident theater company.

DRACULA Comes to Life at CCT

This full-length, bloodcurdling play opens October 18 and runs throughOctober 31, just in time for Halloween! Columbus Children's Theatre presents this haunting tale for viewers fourth grade and up and all who love a thrilling tale. While this show has an adult cast, this kind of production is a wonderful learning opportunity for younger actors to see how professional theatre companies run in the comfort of their own theatre. CCT's production, directed by Pamela Hill, will feature original music composition and extravagant technical elements that will captivate all audiences.

CentStgCo Seeks Volunteers

The Centenary Stage Company (CSC) has the perfect opportunity for theatre, music and dance lovers who would like to enjoy great entertainment on a limited budget.  CSC is once again seeking volunteer ushers for upcoming performances in the Lackland Performing Arts Center, which will include the professional performances of Bram Stoker's DRACULA (Oct 12-28),  ROMEO AND JULIET  by the NJ Ballet (Nov 3 & 4), the annual holiday musical ANNIE (Nov 23 - Dec 9), as well as many other events throughout the 2018-19 professional season.

DRACULA Come to Theatre Memphis

Dracula, the wild and shocking, blood-soaked adaption by William McNulty of the Bram Stoker classic horror tale, opens on the Lohrey Stage at Theatre Memphis and runs October 12-28, 2018. In this re-telling, Professor Van Helsing and his brave comrades hunt to destroy the profoundly evil Count Dracula. But the Count is exceedingly resourceful, employing superhuman strength, psychic powers, and shape-changing to confound his antagonists as an inevitable confrontation ensues.

Come and see the culmination of our Classics-in-Action horror trilogy and our first-ever performance in repertory! Just in time for Halloween, take your pick from our adaptations of Edgar Allan Poe, Bram Stoker's Dracula, or Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. With our customary fidelity to the text, immersive staging, high-energy tone-shifting performances, and custom cocktail pairings, join us as we explore Poe's lonesome paranoia, Stoker's deadly seductive hunt, and Shelley's arrogant despair in this unique theatrical event. The productions contain some scary content, but are appropriate for all ages. Each ticket includes a custom drink for our 21+ guests. Running time for each show is approximately an hour. The Horror Rep runs from October 18th to November 10th at the Capitol Hill Arts Workshop.

SUCH THINGS AS VAMPIRES Puts A Folk-punk Twist On Dracula

People's Light kicks off its 2018/2019 Season with Such Things as Vampires, a highly theatrical folk-punk twist on the Dracula tale. Infused with lilting ballads, rock anthems, and melodious love songs, this concert-theatre event is an irreverent, bloody, and wickedly fun retelling of Bram Stoker's 1897 gothic masterpiece. Such Things as Vampires runs September 20 - October 31 on the Steinbright Stage in Malvern. Tickets range from $30-$50.

KCAT Announces Cast And Creative For DRACULA: A SONG OF LOVE AND DEATH

Kansas City Actors Theatre has completed casting for its world-premiere adaption of Bram Stoker's Gothic classic titled "Dracula: A Song of Love and Death," written by local author Mitch Brian. Presented in partnership with the UMKC Theatre Department, this is the third show of Kansas City Actors Theatre's fourteenth season, and will run from October 12th to the 21st in the Spencer Theater on UMKC's campus.
